Anyway, without further ado, let’s get stuck into The Gameweek 37 Key Tips.

Which players should I target for the remaining 2 weeks?

There are no two ways around this. You want to firstly make sure you have 3 Arsenal players and 3 City players. If you do not already, then these should be your priority. The best options from these 2 include:

  • Gabriel
  • Raya
  • Saliba
  • Rice
  • Trossard
  • Gyokeres
  • Haaland
  • Cherki
  • O’Reilly
  • Semenyo
  • Guehi
  • Doku

All others carry more risk and less upside. These are all good to go.

If you already have 3 Arsenal and 3 City, then you should turn towards those fighting for European spots. Villa and Liverpool are slightly riskier given their league position and cup distractions, so we recommend targeting Brighton, Bournemouth and Brentford. As well as Everton who have an outside shot of Europe but 2 easy fixtures. These players include:

  • Senesi
  • Hill
  • Kroupi
  • Rayan
  • Truffert
  • Hinshelwood
  • Welbeck
  • Van Hecke
  • Verbruggen
  • Gross
  • Thiago
  • Pickford
  • Tarkowski
  • Dewsbury-Hall
  • Keane
  • Ndiaye
  • Bowen

There are also wildcards like Casemiro who will likely get a swansong. Between these options you should not be stuck for ideas. So happy hunting. Check out our Gameweek 37 Buy, Sell or Keep for the full breakdown of all key assets.

What shall I do with my Villa assets?

Villa not only have bad fixtures but also a European cup final to contend with. Now yes, they will probably still need some points from the City or Liverpool games. However, even if they do start the pair, these fixtures are not easy, and as such they would be better spent targeting a Thiago or Hinshelwood/KDH type to finish the season. HARD SELL.

Who should I captain if I am chasing my mini league?

Now this is a fun one. Most will be looking at either a Haaland, Saka or even Bruno Fernandes captaincy this week. If you know who your league rival will be captaining then picking one of those 3 is never a bad option. If you are looking for some outsiders, then we really like an extra Arsenal option such as a Gabriel, Gyokeres or Trossard. That Burnley fixture could get real ugly given Arsenal have everything to play for.

Also, Burnley have the highest xG conceded from set-pieces so far this season at 15.4xGA, so Gabriel’s upside ticks up a bit more.

Which City assets are safest?

With Pep displaying some serious rotation last game, the attention turns towards potential rotation for their final 2 games of the season. Especially considering the performance Foden put in. So if you have 2 City players and are umming and ahhing over the 3rd one then bare in mind there is a tiny bit of risk attached.

Personally, I can’t see a world where Semenyo, Doku and Cherki don’t start consistently from this point forward. However, there is always a chance. If you are one of those who does not want any chance of rotation then you could honestly target a defender such as Guehi, O’Reilly (who you should have anyway), Nunes or even Donnaruma. But do not be scared by the rotation scaremongers, Cherki and Semenyo are fine ‘Buys’.

Which teams should I avoid/will rotate?

We give a full breakdown on this question in our Which teams are most likely to rotate article.
