FPL Gameweek 37 Buy, Sell or Hold

We are back with another edition of Buy, Sell or Hold, where we look at the most transferred in and transferred out players ahead of the upcoming gameweek. We then decide if they are a buy, sell or hold.

Now, if you are falling behind in your mini league and need to make up some ground fast, we recommend checking out our Gameweek 37 captains’ article as well as our Gameweek 37 differentials article.

All these most transferred in and out stats, as well as template % and EO, can be found on our new FPL Stats page. So, make sure you check it out.

And as always, make sure you check out our Predicted Line-Ups and Team News Hub before locking in any changes.

Anyway, without further ado, let’s get stuck into the Gameweek 37 Buy, Sell or hold.

Viktor Gyokeres – BUY

Arsenal has everything to play for and face two bottom half teams with nothing to play for. A very simple equation. Gyokeres tends to punish teams with much weaker defences as well. A very solid BUY.

Jeremy Doku – BUY

Like Gyokeres, Doku has everything to play for. He started on the bench against Palace but was still able to come on and register some meaningful minutes. He is too impactful to leave out the lineup in a title race.

Bukayo Saka – BUY

A buy for very similar reasons to Gyokeres. If you have a midfield spot, you go Saka or Trossard. If you have a forward spot, you go Gyokeres.

William Saliba – BUY

Arsenal assets are all overwhelming buys at the moment given their context and fixtures, and Saliba is no exception. Most nailed defensive minutes after Gabriel.

James Tarkowski – BUY

Love Tarkowski for these final 2 fixtures. Everton are still in the European hunt and have 2 fixtures against teams who have struggled scoring goals of late. Both him and Keane are great buys.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – BUY

For similar reasons to Tarkowski, Everton are still in the European hunt and have great fixtures. That’s reason enough. But the fact he is 5th amongst all midfielder in Points per Match is probably the most compelling.

Declan Rice – HOLD

Now look, Rice is certainly not a bad option. But given Arsenal’s remaining 2 fixtures are against teams who are either already relegated or on the beach, we would much rather prioritise midfielders with more attacking potential like a Saka or Trossard.

David Raya – BUY

However, we want to caveat this by saying he is only a buy if your keeper situation isn’t great. If you have Verbruggen or Pickford already, then he’s probably not worth the FT. Use it elsewhere on another Arsenal player.

Gabriel Magalhaes – BUY

THE buy right now, don’t get flashy. He should be in everyone’s team.

Harry Wilson – HOLD

Been a solid asset this season but seems to already have his own feet up to close the year. No return in 5 and two 60-minute outings in his last 2. Definitely not a sell before Wolves but would hold off on buying.

Bruno G – HOLD

Newcastle will want to finish season strong, and Bruno will be a big part of that. Better options to buy but not a sell ahead of West Ham.

Thiago – HOLD

Great fixture this week but Liverpool in final game of the season not as simple. Can definitely be a buy if you have enough transfers.

Dominik Szoboszlai – HOLD/SELL

Liverpool may have meaningful games left but they are both tricky. Sell if you have plenty of FTs but he’s defo holdable if need.

Leandro Trossard – BUY BUY BUY

Has huge differential potential where everyone else is targeting Arsenal defence and Saka and Gyok.

Casemiro – BUY

Carrick will likely let him sign off in style. May even take a penalty if they get one. Bruno will also still be on the pitch.

Jarrod Bowen – BUY

Fighting for survival, both Leeds and Newcastle now on the beach. A very solid buy option for the xMins crew.

Jack Hinshelwood – BUY

Had him as our best differential buy since GW33. Brighton have everything to play for and he looks very dangerous.

Morgan Rogers – SELL

Not only do Villa have Liverpool and City in their final 2 games. They also have a Europa League final on their agenda. A big SELL.

Ollie Watkins – SELL

Same story as Rogers.

Antoine Semenyo – HOLD

Given Pep will likely rotate a bit he’s a risky buy but selling him is out of the question.

Virgil Van Dijk – HOLD

Definitely not a sell. Way more issues around teams that need addressing. Slot will likely want Liverpool to finish well.

Rayan Cherki – HOLD

Guy was the biggest buy in the league before this gameweek, now he is the 7th most transferred out. Even with rotation risks he is never a sell ffs.

Joao Pedro – SELL

In theory Chelsea’s fixtures aren’t too bad. But their form has been dreadful, and they have an FA Cup Final to worry about. There are better options.

Cole Palmer – SELL

Hasn’t been firing. Similar story to Joao Pedro.

Bournemouth Assets – HOLD and Bench for City Game. Can be Buys next week.

Leeds Assets – SELL. Despite good fixtures they may face heavy rotation now they’re on the beach.
