  • The Transfer Wizard is a great tool for customised transfer recommendations based on budget and position.
  • FPL Player Rankings also provides clear lists of the best FPL players across each position for budget and premium

With only 4 GWs to go, the title and the relegated teams have already been decided. We still have a few teams with some great fixtures and some team that might potentially have a DGW in GW36 as well. These are the teams that could have a DGW:

AVL vs BOU (A), TOT (H)
BOU vs AVL (H), MCI (A)
MCI vs SOU (A), BOU (H)
TOT vs CRY (H), AVL (A)
CRY vs TOT (A), WOL (H)
WOL vs BHA (H), CRY (A)

Keep in mind that the teams that would have a DGW in 36 would automatically have a BGW in 37. This might also be a good GW for BB, TC or FH if you still have it remaining.

1. Aston Villa

With all to play for and Champions League spot on the line Villa will have to play their strongest XI now till the end of the season and they could have a DGW36 with the confirmation we should get before GW35 deadline.

🥇 Rogers: Probably the best Villa player to own currently with absolute certainty around his minutes. Bang in form with a goal and 4 assists in the last 5 GWs. Villa were knocked out of the UCL and FA cup and they will want to finish the season on a high.

🥈 Watkins: He was out of favour in the league with Rashford taking his position at 9 for a few games recently. With Rashford being out for the season with an injury, Watkins is one of the best forwards to own for the remainder of the season. He has 3 goals and an assist in the last 5 GWs despite playing very limited minutes.

2. Brentford

They have one of the best fixture runs to end the season. They play 3 of the worst defences in the league out of 4. Brentford also have a thin chance of getting Conference League football next season.

🥇 Mbeumo: 3 goals and 2 assists in the last 5 GWs despite the team not performing as well. Penalties is his biggest positive and Brentford regularly keep winning a few. A lot of them this week are looking to replace the likes of Foden, KDB and Saka and Mbeumo should be the top replacement.

🥈 Wissa: The duo of Wissa and Mbeumo have combined for 45 G/A this season, which is the most in Brentford history. Wissa also has matched Mbeumo with 3 goals and 2 assists in the last 5 GWs. He could be a great replacement for Mateta which people will look to sell in GW36 if Palace don’t get a DGW.

🥉 Damsgaard: For anyone that is chasing rank and chasing in their respective mini league Damsgaard could be a wild differential punt. Damsgaard has 4 assists in 4 games in the reverse fixtures vs his next 4 opponents MUN, IPS, FUL, WOL.

3. Man City

Man City are have picked up form recently and are looking a their very best, they also have the best fixture run till the end of the season. They would potentially have a DGW36 of SOU and BOU.

🥇 Marmoush: Currently the best Man City attacker to get, you got to have him in your team till the end of the season now. He also looks the most nailed City attacker at the moment. Marmoush is expected to start every game depending on the Haaland injury news, he was due back close to GW36-37 but with no signs of him Marmoush looks a good pick for xMins. He also has 2 goals in the last 5GWs but has massively underperformed his xG of 3.55.

🥈 Gvardiol: He has 5 goals this season the most among Defenders and 3 clean sheets in the last 5 GWs. His attacking potential has gone down totally since pep shifted him from LB to CB but he still is the best defensive option for clean sheets.

NOTE: I don’t recommend any punts from that Man City attack because Pep randomly starts anyone of Foden, KDB, Savinho, Grealish and it’s impossible to predict who starts.

4. Nottingham Forest

Forest have a decent run of fixtures to end the season where they face BRE, LEI, WHU who have not been defensively sound lately.

🥇 Wood: 2nd among strikers for FPL points this season and only Salah, Haaland and Isak has more goals than him this season. He will be a very popular transfer in for the final few GWs. His form has dipped lately with only a goal and an assist in the last 5 starts.

🥈 Milenkovic, Neco, Sels: The defence is a goldmine and a lottery, just pick any of the 3 and you would be good to go. They are the 2nd best defence in the league and only Liverpool have kept more clean sheets than Forest. This is how I would rank them in the order of preference:

  1. Milenkovic
  2. Neco
  3. Sels
