Best Differentials to Own for Gameweek 35

In Fantasy Premier League (FPL), a differential is typically defined as a player owned by around 20% or fewer managers. Here are five standout differentials to consider ahead of Gameweek 35:

1) Yoane Wissa (Ownership: 14.8%, Price: £6.6m)

Managers in need of a new striker or those parting ways with João Pedro should seriously consider Yoane Wissa. Brentford’s next four fixtures—against Man United, Ipswich, Fulham, and Wolves—present great opportunities for attacking returns. As a lot of FPL managers will already own Mbeumo, doubling up could be a nice way to gain rank by going all in on the Brentford attack.

2) Ollie Watkins (Ownership: 18.3%, Price: £8.9m)

Another forward who stands out this week is Ollie Watkins. His 18.3% ownership is misleading, as it’s largely inflated by managers who are no longer actively playing. With Rashford out injured till the rest of the season, Watkins will surely see an increase in his minutes and may even find himself as the penalty taker on occasion.

3) Jarrod Bowen (Ownership: 9.3%, Price: £7.6m)

If you’re looking for a midfield alternative to Mbeumo, Bowen stands out as a compelling choice. West Ham have a strong fixture run to end this season, starting from this week’s fixture against a Spurs side who will surely rotate with their focus on the Europa League. The reasons for picking Bowen as compared to Mbeumo are very similar – form, minutes, penalties, home fixture and an opponent which may not be at full strength.

4) Vitalii Mykolenko (Ownership: 5.4%, Price: £4.3m)

An Everton defender could serve us well till the remainder of the season. With the Toffees set to face Ipswich and Southampton at home in Gameweeks 35 and 37 respectively, their defensive outlook looks strong. In fact, they are ranked among the top two teams for clean sheet probability in each of these two Gameweeks. It’s also important to note that these are Everton’s final two home games at Goodison Park, so they’ll likely be motivated to deliver strong performances for their fans.

5) Ruben Dias (Ownership: 3.7%, Price: £5.4m)

Dias’ stock has risen in recent weeks – yet he remains firmly in the differential category. Compounding his appeal are the recent injuries affecting City’s backline, which should, at least in the short term, secure Dias a consistent run of minutes. Looking ahead to the upcoming fixtures, there are very few defenders who genuinely catch my eye or inspire much confidence. Dias, however, stands out as a clear exception. Bookmakers rate City as the second most likely side to keep a clean sheet this Gameweek, with another promising fixture on the horizon against Southampton in the very n
