Another DGW has come and it’s a decent one with strong teams with good form doubling in GW33

🔴 ARS v IPS (A) & CRY (H)
👕 MCI : EVE (A) & AVL (H)
🟣 AVL : NEW (H) & MCI (A)
🦅 CRY : BOU (H) & ARS (A)

Many have already planned their teams for it with transfers and wildcards. But for those who haven’t planned and are using their BB or FH these are the best players and fixtures to consider for your chip. I am also going to mention the teams and players that don’t double but have a great fixtures this week. Stay with us because I have also drafted my favourite FREE HIT team for GW33!

1. Arsenal

Arsenal have one of the best fixture runs till the end of the season. They have a in DGW33 v IPS & CRY.

🥇 Saka: He looked amazing when he came on and scored 7 minutes after his subbing in. He is as essential as it gets for the run in. After the injury I think he has been managed well in the PL and has got 75+ minutes in UCL which means he is ready to start regularly. With them progressing in the the semis in UCL I think they want to keep the streak going and continue it in the league.

Arsenal play:

1. IPS this Sunday
2. CRY next Thursday
3. UCL game 6 days later
4. BOU 5 days after the UCL game

I think Saka could get a rest or get reduced minutes vs BOU that is GW35.

🥈 Merino: What a signing he has been since he came back from injury. 2 goals and 2 assists in the last 5 in all competitions playing as a no.9, at £6.1m he is a no brainer as a solid DGW option.

🥉 Raya: In the last 6 GWs when majority played their AM chip Raya is 2nd for FPL points only behind Alisson. He is the best DGW goalkeeper to own this week.

2. Aston Villa

After an extremely successful UCL campaign where they almost went neck to neck against PSG but fell short, Villa are coming into the DGW on a high with key players not getting rests like we predicted.

🥇 Morgan Rogers: He has only missed 1 in the PL this season and absolutely no games in the UCL. Emery’s most important player in attack currently, 8 goals and 7 Assists this season and his lungs like an absolute tank. The top Villa asset you should get in your team ahead of anyone else.

🥈 Rashford: With Watkins managing a knee injury, he hasn’t been able to start crucial games and Rashford started 2 of the most important games of their campaign at no.9, which means the coach trusts him. He has a goal and an assist in the last 5 games in all competitions but also missed a lot of big chances. If you want a Villa attacking double up it has to be Rogers and Rashford.

🥉 Martinez/Konsa: Villa have kept 3 clean sheets in the last 5GWs but have conceded a lot around it so they are not a particularly tight defence. You should still consider one of Emi Martinez or Konsa as your third Villa asset as both are absolutely nailed.

3. Man City

Man City are getting back in form recently and have done pretty good in the last 5 GWs scoring 9 goals and conceding only 4. Triple City is a must this GW with the double they have.

🥇 Marmoush: Currently the best man city attacker to get, you could actually get him in your team till the end of the season as he is far far better value than Haaland. With Haaland potentially out till at least GW36 Marmoush is now expected to start at no.9 which makes him one of the best options. He also has 3 goals and an assist in the last 5GWs and is the most likely City player to start both games in GW33.

🥈 Gvardiol: He has 5 goals this season the most among Defenders and 3 clean sheets in the last 5 GWs. If you get him you could keep him possibly till the end of the season with City’s great fixtures.

🥉 De Bruyne: The third City spot and the second attacker is a very tricky one with Foden and Savinho not getting enough minutes since GW30. In that case we definitely should look at a punt which is also reliable, KDB has also confirmed he is leaving Man City this summer which means Pep would want to give him a good sending off that could also mean he will likely start most league games till the end of the season. Hasn’t played enough minutes lately but he has 1 goal and 6 assists in his last 5 starts and have an attacking return in all those games. De Bruyne is a great Man City punt for DGW33 but I would wait for more news or potential leaks before getting him.

NOTE: Man City could potentially have A DGW36 vs SOU and BOU depending on the FA Cup results.

4. Crystal Palace

Palace had amazing run of fixtures and they had the most games in terms of quantity, they have a DGW33 again and you would want to offload all their attackers after this as they have a bad run of games till the season ends

🥇 Mateta & Munoz: I am mentioning both of them at once is because they are the best players to buy in FPL at the moment given their team’s form and their own form in general. Munoz has 2 clean sheets, 1 goal and an assist in the last 5 GWs. Mateta’s form has been deteriorating but he still has 2 goals in the last 5 GWs. By far the best forward to own at the moment alongside Marmoush and Isak.

🥈 Sarr: He is by far the second best attacker from Palace, for me he is ahead of Eze. He has played 4 more games than Eze this season but has far superior stats. Despite Eze looking better recently I still think Sarr is a far better option and would stick to him if you have him and not make a sideways transfer.

Non DGW Teams:

🔴 Liverpool v LEI

1. Salah: Should be locked in all teams and is almost a standout captaincy option despite a single GW for him.

2. Bradley: A great cheap defensive option, he has a clean sheet, an assist and all 3 bps in the last 2GWs since he started playing more becayse of Trent’s injury.

♦️ Man United v WOL

1. Bruno Fernandes: 2 goals and 2 assists in the last 5 GWs. Wolves have conceded 32 goals away from home. Only Southampton and Leicester have conceded more away shows how bad they are defensively on the road.

🌳 Nottingham Forest v TOT

1. Wood: Chris Wood has seen a big dip in form in the last 5 GWs with only an assist to his name but you really don’t need any sort of form playing the current Spurs team. They have conceded 10 goals in the last 5GWs keeping 0 clean sheets in that time.

⚒️ West Ham vs SOU

1. Bowen: One of the most underrated and underappreciated player this season, he keeps ticking along and has a goal and an assist in the last 5 GWs. He now plays the worst defence in the league who have conceded a whopping 77 goals this season and 16 goals conceded in the last 5 GWs conceded 3+ goals 4 times out of 5.

GW33 Free Hit Team:

This is the best FH team for GW33 according to me ✅

A 3-5-2 with Konsa, Wan-Bissaka and Wood on the bench. Bradley as the only single GW starting player – I prefer him over double Villa defence.
