The Best Gameweek 33 Differentials

Now, if you paid any attention to last week’s Best Differentials piece, you would’ve hopefully noticed Alex Scott as our number 1 differential option and brought him in. If you didn’t, however, then no problem. This week is another chance!

Unlike last week, given people will already be targeting doublers as they are on Free Hit 34 or the other option, Free Hitting this week, we will be making today’s differential piece all centered around the best doubling players Gameweek 33. However, we will be making a note of those players who have great fixtures until the end of the season for those on Free Hit 34.

It is also worth noting that many of last week’s differentials options were in fact targeted and still relevant for this week, including Scott and Gomez. So, make sure you check out the rest in our Gameweek 32 differentials piece.

If you are on Free Hit this week, then we recommend you check out our Best Gameweek 33 Free Hit draft. Also, if you are looking for more ways to gain rank, then make sure you check out our Gameweek 33 Best Captains piece.

And as always, make sure you check out our Predicted Line-Up and Team News Hub before locking in any changes.

Anyway, without further ado, let’s get stuck into the best Gameweek 33 Differentials piece.

Rayan Cherki – £6.3m

Ownership: 8.6%

I get it, Cherki is too popular to be a differential, surely…No. He in fact only has 8.6% ownership. Which is a stark contrast to his midfield competition in Semenyo who has a whopping 56.7%. Now I don’t own a crystal ball, but I’d bet a lot of money that at least 95% of the WC32’ers have gone for Semenyo over Cherki.

Cherki was City’s stand out performer against both Chelsea and Liverpool and is entering the double in red-hot form. Now yes, there is always the chances he is rotated given the schedule and his record this season. But I believe there is also a chance Semenyo does. Cherki seems to make things happen, and that is the exact sort of player you want on the pitch when chasing a title.

Where Cherki’s real value lies, however, is in taking on the WC32’ers. Given most will not own him or use a transfer going from Semenyo to Cherki, he presents the perfect opportunity to take on the WC32 template and gain rank.

Junior Kroupi – £4.6m

Ownership: 5.8%

Now yes, Bournemouth does have some great assets for the double. At minimum any FH33 or FH34 should have 3 Bournemouth players this week. With most opting for a Senesi, Hill, Tavernier combo as well as some Scott or even Truffert shares, it seems like Kroupi has gone slightly under the radar in terms of discourse. He now has 2 in his last 2 and has hit double digits on the season. All from an xGI per 90 of 0.58.

He is definitely a rotation risk given his varied minutes this season. However, given that he has 2 goals in 2 games I think we can expect him to get meaningful minutes in both games.

Much like Cherki however, his real value comes from the fact that he is likely not a big feature amongst the WC32 template. Not least given, he picked up a knock over the international break. Another great opportunity to take on the WC32 template.

Jayden Bogle – £4.4m

Ownership: 0.6%

Those looking for Leeds defenders should look no further than Jayden Bogle. One thing that is significant about Leeds’s double is that both teams have bottom 5 defences in the league, despite Bournemouth having a great attack. This opens the door for those players more inclined towards attacking returns, such as Jayden Bogle.

If you’ve watched any Leeds games this year, you’ll know this man loves to bomb forward. His 5 attacking returns reflecting that. Unlike some other Leeds defenders, he is also nailed and will likely start both games. Even though his DefCons are somewhat underwhelming, his attacking potential provides a nice upside in two fixtures which could yield plenty of goals.

Jack Hinshelwood – £5.1m

Ownership: 0.5%

Hinshelwood and indeed Brighton have been excelling since his move to attacking midfield, with the Brighton star registering 3 assists in his last 6 games. The fact he is playing as the #10 for a team that is firing on all cylinders right now but is only 0.5% owned is crazy.

He currently has the 5th highest xGI amongst all midfielders over the last 6 game weeks as well as 9 big chances created over the same span. All this while averaging around 2 shots a game. All bode very well for FPL purposes. Another great example of a route to take on the WC32 template.
