The Best FPL Gameweek 35 Differentials

Last week we recommended Chris Wood, Kevin Danso and Florian Wirtz as our 3 differentials who started, so if you are keeping score at home, that was a tick, tick, tick.

This week, with no Free Hits in play, the equation for differentials is finally a lot simpler. Who are the best options for the next few gameweeks.

If you are in fact on Wildcard then make sure you check out our Gameweek 35 Wildcard draft, it’s an absolute banger, trust me.

Or, if you are looking for other differential routes to capitalise on, then make sure you check out our Best Gameweek 35 Captains.

And as always, make sure you consult our Predicted Line-Ups and Team News Hub before locking in any changes.

We also included plenty of longer term options in last week’s differential piece, so make sure you check out our Gameweek 34 Differentials article for more great options. Not least as we will aim not to repeat any.

Anyway, without further ado, let’s get stuck into the Best Gameweek 35 Differentials.

Noah Okafor – £5.6m

Ownership: 2.3%

It’s no secret that Leeds have arguably the best run of fixtures in the entire league to close out the season. If only they had a cheap attacking asset who was in great form and only 2.3% owned…Oh wait, they do. Okafor is averaging 10+ Fantasy points across his last 3 games, including 2 mega hauls against Wolves and Man United. He now takes his great form into fixtures which include 3 of the bottom 4 teams in the league.

With many people opting for DCL, especially those who wildcarded in GW32, Okafor could provide a great differential option through which to take on DCL owners while still targeting Leeds’s elite fixture run. There are some small risks of rotation, but given Leeds aren’t quite out of the woods relegation wise, and aren’t competing in any European competitions, we should expect their in-form attackers to get the lion’s share of minutes.

Jack Hinshelwood – £5.1m

Ownership: 0.4%

Somehow still only at 0.4% ownership, Hinshelwood is FPL’s best kept secret right now. With most WC32ers passing on him, he provides another great route into an in-form team with great fixtures. He has excelled since moving into the 10 role, and Brighton have now won 4 of their last 5 with him there. Scoring 2+ goals in each of their last 4 games. Hinshelwood also leads all midfielders in xGI over the last 5 league games, averaging 0.74 xGI per 90, proving his returns are anything but flukey.

With fixtures against 3 relegation threatened clubs in their next 3 outings (that’s right Newcastle, I said it), there is absolutely no reason he can’t grab himself some serious hauls.

Igor Jesus – £5.9m

Ownership: 2.0%

With most of the focus going onto the more well-known assets such as Gibbs-White and Chris Wood, Igor Jesus has been flying under the radar. The Brazilian has quietly notched up 7 returns in his last 7 games, including a 14-point haul away at Sunderland. He now takes on two sides whose form has taken a nosedive recently in Chelsea and Newcastle. Chelsea have conceded 10 goals in their last 4 games and Newcastle have conceded 7.

You could definitely go for a Forest defender here as well, however with Man United and Bournemouth in GW37 and GW38, you may not want to start a defender against those teams. So, the attack has a lot more long-term value. Not least considering they have just scored 9 goals in 2 games.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Ownership: 5.9%

As discussed in our Gameweek 34 Wildcard draft, we absolutely love Dewsbury-Hall as an option, especially if you are on wildcard. Every time he plays, he looks dangerous, and still has 8 goals and 6 assists so far this season, despite missing a large chunk of games.

From GW36 to GW38, he has fantastic fixtures, facing a Palace team whose attention is focused on Europe, a Sunderland team who have been hit for 9 goals in their last 2 and then Spurs, who we do not need to elaborate on.

Perhaps the main reason we really like Dewsbury-Hall, however, is that he is an easy bench this week. Now that may sound odd, but if you are on wildcard, then the chances are you will own multiple Leeds, Brighton or Villa assets, given their end of season fixture run. As well as Jarrod Bowen or Thiago up top. What this means therefore, is that this week you are able to start that extra Leeds, Brighton or Villa asset over Dewsbury-Hall (Who plays City), instead of having them sit on your bench for a great fixture. Then bring in Dewsbury-Hall next week, when you can bench either Bowen vs Arsenal or Thiago vs Man City, Bench Leeds assets vs Brighton in GW37 and Villa assets vs City in GW38. Lovely Jubbly.
