The Best FPL Gameweek 26 Differentials

Firstly, I’d like to start off by expressing our own disappointment about not being able to discuss Summerville due to our own rule of not repeating players. However, we have been recommending him every week going back to Gameweek 23, especially in our Gameweek 24 differentials piece.

However, it may now be a tad late to recommend him given West Ham’s fixtures take a bit of a turn in a couple Game weeks’ time. What you are still able to do however, is check out our Gameweek 25 differentials article, as most of the players on there are all still great differentials for Gameweek 26.

Also, make sure you check out our Predicted Line-Ups and Team News Hub before locking in any changes.

Anyway, let’s get started with the Best FPL Gameweek 26 differentials.

Rayan – £5.5m

Ownership: 0.2%

Now, this spot can easily be either Rayan or Adli and it completely depends on your preference. Both look set to start in one of the league’s better attacks and so splitting the difference can be done purely on preference. Adli has strung together some consistent returns in the past few game weeks and even reached his DefCon against Liverpool.

Rayan, however, is just the more exciting option. Granted this is me purely going off my eyes, but this man seriously looks like the real deal. His finish against Villa was very tidy, and he looks every bit the exciting prospect they hoped. Even though it is only a small sample size, averaging 0.65 xGI per 90 and a return a game is not bad. Particularly with one of the best fixture runs in the league.

Chris Richards – £4.4m

Ownership: 2.3%

There is not a single defender with more points per match than Richards who is cheaper than him. Even Mukiele has now shot up to the £4.6m range. For just 34.4m not only do you get a Palace team who have broken their drought and have a fantastic fixture run, you also get 10.43 DefCons a game. He is not flashy by any means but he is a great potential 8 point man in solid fixtures.

Mateus Mane – £4.6m

Ownership: 2.1%

Now if Mane was not doubling, he would probably not be featuring here. However, the fact he costs a mere £4.6m, means he is an excellent shout for those not only looking to save cash at the 3rd striker slot, but also get some potential returns. His main competition for this role is Kroupi Jr, who despite having better long term fixtures and playing for a better attack, does not double. So if you’re after a short term cheap punt then Mane could be  a great option.

Jorgen Strand-Larsen – £6.1m

Ownership: 1.2%

Strand-Larsen is here for one prevailing reason, fixtures. Palace’s next 5 are about as good as it gets for attackers. Even the Man United fixture could have goals in it for attackers.

Strand-Larsen owners and buyers can be encouraged by his 90-minute stint in his first game for the eagles, which also saw him fairly involved in the attack, notching up an xGI of 0.42. Now I thought he had a decent game, but some seem to disagree so I guess it’s in the eye of the beholder. Nonetheless, any striker worth their salt would expect some returns during a fixture run like that, so at only £6.1m he could prove a solid option. Especially for those looking to downgrade a different striker.

It also remains to be seen if he’ll be on penalties, but it could be a nice bonus if he is.

Cody Gakpo – £7.3m

Ownership: 5.3%

Liverpool fans can correct me if I’m wrong but I’m really struggling to think about who would be starting on the left if not Gakpo. Especially with Szoboszlai not threatening Wirtz’s minutes at the 10.

Gakpo is in general a largely frustrating asset to own, no doubt, but he can be streaky. He is often quite greedy and has no hesitation around cutting inside and taking on shots. His shot volume and penchant for goals often increase massively when Liverpool and already steam rolling teams, which given their next 5 fixtures of Sunderland, forest, West Ham, Wolves and Spurs, almost seems like an inevitability. He could be a really sneaky and streaky differential option. Especially considering he averages 0.5 xGI per 90 on the year.
