Gameweek 13 – Ingenuity FPL Team Reveal

We at Ingenuity FF bring you our GW13 FPL team reveal. We take you through our FPL team, transfers & our captaincy choice!

Gameweek 13 – Ingenuity FPL Team Reveal

After some shocking results post international break, some of us may have had to reassess decisions and plans we had laid out over the coming Gameweeks (like everyone looking to go heavy Liverpool with their great fixtures only to see them lose 0-3 at home to Forest). So I can think of no better time for the Gameweek 13  Ingenuity FPL team reveal!

Wildcarding has been very popular over GW8-11 and now everyone is Free Hit focussed, and if you are someone who is considering using either chip this week or in the coming weeks, feel free to use our FPL team reveal for some guidance and a template. After a massive 109 points in GW8 playing our Bench Boost, and ranking top 4000 in the world for the Gameweek, and more good weeks after that, we feel very confident in our team moving forward and are looking to take that top spot in our Ingenuity FPL League which we hope you have all joined!

Ingenuity FPL Team Reveal Gameweek 13:

We had already used our Wildcard earlier in the season, and were very much considering using our Free Hit this week given we have both our Triple Captain and Free Hit chip remaining and only have until the Gameweek 19 deadline to utilise them. However we decided to hold for now, but we will give strong consideration to using our Free Hit in GW14.

Transfers:

  • Transferred in Jurien Timber for Reece James. James was too much of a minutes risk given their involvement in multiple competitions and James’ inability to play multiple games a week consistently. With Chelsea having tough fixtures coming up, having the consistent minutes Timber provides in an elite Arsenal defence was an easy choice to make.
  • Chelsea’s difficult upcoming fixture list also forced our hand in to moving off of Joao Pedro despite recent returns. Brentford have fantastic attacking fixtures and Thiago trails only Haaland in goals scored this season with his 9 goals, so that was quite an easy decision also.
  • Sarr is on transfer watch after some quiet weeks but Palace are a good team, and he is a very good player so hoping he turns it around.
  • A lot of people have swapped out Bruno for Mbeumo but with AFCON coming up, we will stick with reliable Bruno.

Start or Bench Decisions:

  • Semenyo has trained this week so we feel good that he will start but if not, Mukiele or Xhaka are solid replacements off our bench.
  • Will ride it out with Van Dijk in the starting lineup and may just transfer out in later weeks if Liverpool’s defence continues to look this shambolic.
  • Munoz starts every week regardless of fixture difficulty.

Captain:

  • Erling Haaland
