Game Week 29: SamFPL’s Key Questions

FH29 or no FH29

Free hit is one of the powerful chips in the game and the proper use of it can significantly improve your overall rank. Some managers will have to activate it in blank GW29 and others may save it later for upcoming double game weeks for their higher upside and for the next big blank week in GW34. I believe it’s team dependent but personally and according to my strategy, I will keep it for BGW34.

I also think you can save your FH If you field 8 playing players at least this week.

 

Essentials for the blank?

The following players are the best targets for this blank, for your free hit draft of free transfers.

• Defensively, I believe Nottingham Forest defense is essential for this game week, Aina, Milinkovic or Sels should be your priority in defense.
• Gvardiol is going to be a good pick for upcoming game weeks due to the improved form and fixtures and his attacking threat that was very obvious this season.
• Last pick will be Ait-Nouri or EVE Defenders due to their easy fixtures. They can return easily against SOU or WHU respectively.

 

• In midfield, I believe Kluivert is the top target alongside Bruno and Gibbs-White. All of these picks have good recent form and easy fixtures in GW29. Kluivert is my current target due to his amazing fixture in GW30 as well.
• Mbeumo is also a good pick as a talisman and his penalties.

 

• For the front line I will mention 4 forwards to get at least 2 of them.
• Wood and Haaland should be the top targets and great captaincy options. Meanwhile, Beto and Evanilson are my best differentials.

 

Players to bench

Some of the blanking assets have good fixtures in GW30 and beyond. Newcastle United and Crystal Palace will get a double GW 32 and I believe Isak and Munoz should be kept. Mateta can be sold as we aren’t sure about his start in GW30. Salah should be benched for Gw30 game because of his form and the value you have tied up in him.

 

Keep or sell?

Alexander-Arnold

Trent has been injured in the UCL game and may be doubtful for GW30 and 31. I don’t recommend keeping him because of the uncertainty about his injury and his expensive price that’s needed for buying players like Haaland and Bruno.

 

Dango

Unfortunately Dango hasn’t started for Bournemouth after Evanilson’s back and he may end up being benched again this GW. He is a sell but not a priority to be honest. He may start in GW30 as it’s going to be in the midweek. I’m totally against selling him for a hit. Selling him for free transfer isn’t bad idea at all.

 

Palmer

Palmer has been very disappointing recently and has back to back blanks against SOU and LEI. In addition, The English international will face ARS in this blank GW and many managers are looking to sell him, I don’t mind this plan due to his 11.0 price. Salah won’t feature in blank GW29 and we should target reliable alternative captain and I believe Haaland should be your replacement Premium and captain for the next 2 fixtures vs BHA and LEI.
