FPL GOAT Team Reveal – GW5

FPL Goat brings you his GW5 FPL team reveal exclusive to Ingenuity. He takes us through his FPL team, any transfers & his captaincy choice for Gameweek 5.

FPL GOAT Team Reveal – GW5

We have taken in everything we learned from the first 4 GWs of the season and have had the international break to digest and strategise for the pivotal GWs ahead. Whether you are thinking about using your Wildcard or Free Hit chip in GW5, or have a few free transfers saved up and are looking to reshuffle, one thing you absolutely will want to take a look at is the GOAT himself, FPL GOAT bringing his GW5 Team Reveal exclusively to Ingenuity!

The reason why you should look forward to my team reveals this season:

My rank for the previous 4 seasons 🌎

2024-25 : 4.5k
2023-24 : 112k
2022-23 : 17k
2021-22 : 6k

FPL GOAT Team Reveal GW5:

Ended up with 55 pts in GW4 which is 10 pts below the average, went from 840k to 2m which is still a decent rank given how early we are in the season. There are around 5-6 players I immediately want to remove from my team.

TRANSFERS

  •  I was initially looking to make 2 transfers (-4) but the fixtures aren’t good enough for my 2 targets Semenyo and Gyokeres.
  • I will be looking to save a transfer this week and make 2-3 changes next week or just Wildcard.

STARTING XI

  • Thinking to play a 4-3-3 this week but i am not totally set and could play Esteve or Reijnders instead of Rutter.

CAPTAINCY

A good week to take on and go for a differential captain this week but no clear standout captain. I am currently on Salah captain and will probably stay on it.

As well as his GW5 team reveal, FPL GOAT is back this season with his weekly Fixture Ticker which is absolutely key to building the best FPL team for the upcoming Gameweeks!
