With a huge amount of players flagged following the international break, navigating this next round of fixtures and transfers will be anything but easy. I don’t know about anyone else but my team is so covered in red and yellow it looks sponsored by McDonalds.
That being said, some of these injuries are not that bad, and even the ones which do look concerning, don’t seem like they’re going to ever justify selling a player. So even if your screen looks as bad as mine does, it may not quite be panic stations yet.
With all these flags however, make sure you check in with our Predicted Line-Ups Hub before making any drastic moves, as the last thing you want to do is move off someone who is completely healthy. Or even worse, the opposite.

Anyway, without further ado, here is what we recommend doing with some of FPL’s key assets ahead of GW12.

UPDATED: The Arsenal defender is now slated to miss a minimum of four weeks according to The BBC. This means we may not see the Brazilian back on the pitch until early next year. Mosquera has proved a more than capable deputy at the heart of Arsenal’s defence and Arteta’s system should still ensure that Arsenal defensive assets retain their high value. Unfortunately such a long absence will have to land Gabriel in the Sell category, not least considering his price and the influx of transfer ahead of GW16. Sell Him.
Timber is a great sideways replacement for those looking to maintain an Arsenal presence. Or for those looking to diversify, we like the punt on VVD.

Ghana Football Association recently announced that Semenyo has a left anterior talo-fibula ligament sprain. This is much harder to diagnose as the length of time missed, as it can can completely depend on the severity of the strain.
If Bournemouth were coming into rougher fixtures then we would probably lean towards selling him given his rougher form of late. However, with Bournemouth walking into one of their best stretches of fixtures all year, along with the fact he will not be at AFCON, our recommendation is to Hold him.

The Colombian was another Big FPL name who had to withdraw from the International squad recently. However, unlike Gabriel and Semenyo, Munoz’s exclusion was for personal reasons/family matters.
So not only should we not be concerned about Munoz’s absence, with the fixtures Palace have and Munoz’ ability to pick up points at either end of the pitch, he is in fact a fantastic candidate moving forward. Especially if you are apprehensive about trusting Liverpool defenders yet. Buy Him.

This is one which has caused a lot of debate amongst managers and will likely continue to do so. As a standalone asset, Woltemade is not bad by any stretch. At the moment what he is suffering from however, is just better options at the striker position.
Should the likes of Thiago and Mateta not exist, he would likely be a hold, but given Newcastle’s atrocious form at the moment, it is hard to trust any part of their attack over those other great attacking assets. Sell him.

Another injury flagged player is Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez. The Chelsea star has been a focal point of Chelsea’s attack of late despite not necessarily having the returns to show for it.
He recently had to withdraw from International duty following the reaggravation of a ‘Bone Edema’. As the Argentine cited he had been playing through a lot of pain recently. Despite his cheap price and great underlying numbers, the imminent return of Cole Palmer and the lingering injury nature should all but seal Enzo’s fate as an FPL asset moving forward.
Update: Marseca has announced Enzo will in fact be fit and available for Saturday’s fixture, and since the initial writing of this article Cole Palmer has broken his toe in an accident at home. Meaning Enzo is now a Hold. Hold Him.

Somehow the 8th most sold player this Gameweek. Marc Guehi recently withdrew from the England squad to continue to regain his fitness. Palace fans can be relieved following Tuchel’s statement that there is no structural damage and it instead just about pain management. All signs point to him being good to go for Gameweek 12.
Now even though we prefer other Palace defenders at cost such as Richards and Munoz, we don’t believe it is worth transferring out Guehi ahead of such good fixtures. The definition of a hold. Hold Him.

The 4th most transferred in player this week and with good reason. Following what can only be described as a world class performance against Liverpool, many managers were quick o get the Belgian straight into their teams. But did they jump the gun? The answer is simple, No and who cares at only £6.4m.
City’s fixtures from GW13 to GW19 are fantastic and they look in great form. So the ceiling for Doku is absolutely huge. Even if his minutes are reduced, which is less likely following the Liverpool performance, he is so cheap that you’ll likely have enough quality elsewhere to manage it. Buy Him.

With many people umming and ahing over Liverpool assets ahead of their fixture swing, the one under heavy discussion right now is Dominik Szboszlai. Fresh off a heartbreaking loss to Ireland, the Hungarian may be more driven than ever in the league.
He has a solid Defcon floor and should have great attacking return potential within these upcoming fixtures. Considering the lack of minute security across the rest of Liverpool’s attack, Szobo’s minutes security and price should position him as a great asset. Buy Him.
