  • The Transfer Wizard is a great tool for customised transfer recommendations based on budget and position.

The dynamics of FPL are going to change starting from BGW29, as it is the first blank GW of the season, and many will be dead-ending their teams and playing a wildcard in GW30 or 31. Many are also looking to FH in GW29 to cover for the blank fixtures.

This article will only focus on teams with the best fixtures for the next 4-5 GWs, especially those in GW30-31. Also, 4 out of the 5 teams mentioned all have a fixture in GW29, so even if you later decide not to use your FH in GW29, you can easily keep them for the foreseeable future.

1. Bournemouth

Currently one of the most in-form teams in the PL with great fixtures, and the best part is they don’t blank in GW29. So, getting in 2-3 of their assets is ideal for the run.

🥇 Kluivert – Currently the midfielder to own in FPL, player of the month, and in top form. 5 goals and 3 assists in the last 5 GWs and someone who has massively benefited from Evanilson’s injury. He is also on penalties. He should be the first name in your team if you’re looking for a midfielder.

🥈 Semenyo/Dango – I definitely would want to get in another Bournemouth midfielder. Everyone will own Kluivert or Semenyo, but a second Bournemouth midfielder is going to be an amazing differential you can play or bench based on your individual team.

Bournemouth mids since Evanilson’s injury in GW21 ✅

🍒 Kluivert vs. Dango vs. Semenyo

  1. Shots: 15 vs. 14 vs. 15
  2. Shots in the box: 9 vs. 12 vs. 12
  3. Big chances: 5 vs. 6 vs. 3
  4. xG: 2.52 vs. 2.22 vs. 1.46
  5. FPL points: 52 vs. 38 vs. 34

My thoughts have changed again since the last GW, and now I think Semenyo is a safer option than Dango. Evanilson being back on the bench means Dango might see reduced minutes and could be taken off around 60-65 minutes.

🥉 Huijsen – The difference between him and Kerkez is big. Kerkez is now £0.6m more expensive at £5m.

Huijsen is a big set-piece threat:

  • More shots on target than Kerkez
  • More shots in the box
  • Better xG

Kerkez is more of a creator, with 5 big chances created compared to just 1 for Huijsen.

Huijsen, in attacking terms, has a slightly better xGI as well (2.23) compared to Kerkez (2.16).

2. Chelsea

I just wanted to add them because I can see many selling Palmer since he has blanked in the last 2 GWs.

Chelsea players are currently in a “don’t buy, don’t sell” situation. Palmer is definitely not a sell at all. The fixtures are amazing in the next 4 GWs, and they also don’t blank in GW29, though they have a tricky fixture vs. Arsenal.

Hold on to Palmer for the next 2 GWs at least – SOU (H), LEI (H) – and decide during BGW29 whether you want to sell him to get someone like Haaland (if he is fit).

3. Crystal Palace

Palace have great fixtures in the next 2 GWs, but they do blank in GW29. However, they play Southampton in GW30, so if you can afford to bench their assets, they are still a very good buy.

🥇 Mateta – One of the best forwards to buy at the moment.

He’s in top form with 7 goals and 1 assist in the last 7 GWs and has blanked just once in that time.

He would be one of the top forwards to buy:

  1. Cunha
  2. Mateta
  3. Wissa
  4. Marmoush

🥈 Muñoz – One of the best attacking defenders to get.

Muñoz is top 2 for xGI among defenders, with 3 clean sheets, 1 goal, and 2 assists in the last 5 GWs. He also has incredible fixtures ahead.

4. West Ham

West Ham under Graham Potter have definitely improved a lot and have tightened up at the back.

They are coming off an amazing win vs. Arsenal last GW and now face Leicester next, who are the second-worst team in the league.

🥇 Bowen – Cheaper than Mbeumo but with a similar upside. If you want a mega differential under 5% ownership that is absolutely reliable, then Bowen is the way to go. He is the focal point of the West Ham attack, with 3 goals in the last 5 starts. He has 13 goal contributions despite his team being average at best all season.

Paqueta’s injury also means Bowen should be a lock for penalties.

5. Wolves

After what feels like an eternity, Wolves now have an amazing run of fixtures. Their best fixtures start from GW28, but the next two are not bad at all for their defence.

🥇 Cunha – He scored his first goal in several GWs despite a tough run of fixtures, and the goal came against Liverpool—a really good one that could boost his confidence ahead of a strong fixture run. Right now, I don’t think I can suggest any other Wolves player, and I don’t believe anyone besides Cunha is really worth it.

Cunha is also a bonus point magnet—when he scores, you can almost guarantee he’s getting 3 BPS.
