Liverpool best triple up

After a successful Liv triple up vs. IPS at Anfield in GW23, it makes it more appealing to target their assets now; for a double Gameweek followed by a home games in GW 25. My strategy is tripling up on Liverpool and I’ll mention best 3 from the Reds.

Salah is no-brainer and essential for this run. He is the best triple captain, and his effective ownership is going to exceed %200. 2nd pick will be the English defender who has back to back assists in last 2 Gameweeks and rested during the UCL. Alexander-Arnold always has high ceiling and can easily record a double-digit score by an attacking return alongside clean sheets. I believe he can get more returns. Wolves suffers in crosses and set pieces and he is a good pick for GW25 as well.

Liverpool upcoming fixtures favor their attackers. And despite being rested, I won’t get Diaz and target the 16 pointer forward again. Gakpo seems to be better pick for minutes in general and rarely gets early substitutes when the team struggles and this suggests he is important for Slot and relies much on him. Liverpool will get an easy cup game before Everton game and Gakpo can be rested again. Salah, Trent and Gakpo should be the best triple up from Liverpool.

Assistant Manager or Triple Captain:

Before activating the new chip, you should take a look on the next 3 weeks not just next GW, as you’re going to earn points for results across this three-Gameweek spell. You’ll get points for goals, clean sheets, winning or draws. 6 points for a win, 3 for draws, 1 point per goal scored by team, points per CS and an extra 10 points for a win, or an extra five points for a draw if your manager surprises a club ranked at least five places higher in the League table. I can’t trust Everton and Moyes yet and I’ll talk about Slot only.

Slot as an assistant manager is a viable option but I think losing one of LIV players for Slot isn’t worth it.

Salah, Gakpo and Trent are all better picks than Slot in isolation and I won’t like the idea of losing one of them to get Slot. On the other hand Slot will disallow you from getting 3x Salah points so he is simply blocking you from getting the max benefit from this Liverpool DGW. 3x Salah plus Gakpo and Trent should comfortably outscore Slot plus 2x Salah and one of Trent/Gakpo

In addition, Liverpool will face MCI away in GW26 which isn’t the best fixture to target. I prioritise triple captain rather than the assistant manager chip. Using the AM can be saved for a bigger haul later in the season during next double weeks or for weak teams’ surprises at the final weeks of the season.

Everton assets for the double

Apart from the DGW, Everton schedule isn’t tempting and loading up on their assets in GW25-26 will backfire. I think only 1 player will be enough. Pickford is good option for his saves and a potential CS vs Leicester. Mykolenko looks advanced recently and can be targeted and kept after the double as the perfect 5th def as he has a favorable home game with West Ham United in BGW29 when Liverpool, AVL and Newcastle will likely blank.

I won’t get any of their forwards or midfielders as their attacking numbers aren’t promising and, Ndiaye -despite his penalty- will struggle to return consistently.  we have many better attackers that can easily outscore Eve attackers in DGW24. I’d rather target Mbeumo/Wissa than Ndiaye.

Transfers recommendations:

Gordon/Foden to Mbeumo?

Mbeumo will face a Spurs side who have gone 7 matches without a clean sheet, conceding 18 goals in the process, and registered only 4 CS this season. And the Bees’ talisman has favourable next five fixtures. He is a top transfer target in midfield.

City has fixtures swing and face the best teams for attacking and defensive stats. Next 3 opponents are ranked 3rd,3rd, 1st for CS this campaign. They’re going to face Bayern or Madrid in UCL playoffs as well. It’s going very exhausting and Foden’s minutes may be reduced. Meanwhile, Next 4 for Newcastle are tough and it’s not wise to double up on their attackers. Isak will be enough cover and Gordon can be sold easily. But would I sell Gordon before FUL(H)? Probably yes, Fulham is ranked 4th for xGC this season! It won’t be an easy one for Gordon’s mate. I think Mbeumo has higher ceiling and better form and fixtures.

Wood?

After his disappointing performance in the 5-0 defeat last weekend, Wood faces BHA (H). He also has tricky fixtures, but he isn’t an urgent sell. Wood is one of the most reliable and proven forwards in Fantasy. He can easily score from just 1 shot on target and register 3 bonus points. He has already scored against BHA earlier during the 1st half of the season. He is a hold unless you will sell him for Gakpo for the double. I wouldn’t sell him for Ndiaye or Calvert-Lewin.
