LIV & EVE will have a DGW in 24, which is confirmed:

🔴 Liverpool vs BOU & EVE
🍬 Everton vs LEI & LIV

Note: Hardly any team has a prolonged run of good fixtures starting GW22, so I’ll only mention a few teams that have decent fixtures in the next 2–3 GWs.

1. Aston Villa:

They have amazing fixtures after Arsenal in GW22, but no one really stands out apart from Morgan Rogers, who is relevant because he is cheap.

🥇 Rogers: 6 goals and 5 assists—a goal or an assist every other game—for just £5.5m is insane value.

  • If you have a spare transfer, you can buy him and bench him this week vs ARS, or he is a “don’t buy, don’t sell,” but he may be essential from GW23 onwards.
  • From GW23–25, he plays WHU, WOL, and IPS, who are bottom 5 in the league for goals and xG conceded.

PS: I am not recommending any other Villa asset as their defence is very shaky and hardly keeps a clean sheet (CS).

  • Watkins is a shout, but with Duran also in contention, he is an absolute no-go.

2. Chelsea:

Their good run of fixtures still continues even after 10 GWs (check it out here using Opta Match Centre), but apart from Palmer, literally everyone has disappointed.

🥇 Palmer: 14 goals, 7 assists, and 8 double-digit hauls this season. He should be in everyone’s team and is also the standout captaincy option in GW22. He plays a Wolves team that has conceded the most goals this season.

PS: I don’t like their upcoming fixtures for clean sheets that much, so their defenders are a “don’t buy, don’t sell.”

Regarding Jackson, he is also a “don’t buy, don’t sell” this GW:

  • Many are selling him for Wood, but I believe he has a better fixture than Wood this week.
  • Jackson is a sell after this week for sure.

3. Crystal Palace:

Palace is the only team with no “red” fixture in the next 7 GWs, at least according to the official FPL website.

🥇 Eze: I’m not sure if he completely justifies the £6.6m price tag because he has been frustratingly inconsistent and very injury-prone. But if you still prefer a Palace attacker and money isn’t an issue, you should consider Eze over Sarr. 2 assists and a goal in the last 4 GWs he has started. Keep in mind that his minutes will be managed, and he hasn’t completed a full 90 minutes since GW10.

🥈 Ismaila Sarr: If money is tight, you could go with the £0.7m cheaper Sarr. He almost provides the same output as Eze, but Eze has proven it more over the years when he stays fit. Sarr has fooled many of his owners. After everyone got him in GW18, he has only 1 assist to show since then. He still has great fixtures to turn things around.

🥉 Mateta: At £7.3m, I would say he is the 4th best forward to buy after Isak, Wood, and Wissa, but he has better fixtures than Wood and Wissa in the next 3. He isn’t a pressing buy at all as he isn’t very cheap, and the ceiling is extremely low. He has scored more than 1 goal just once this season.

4. Liverpool:

Liverpool is easily the best team in the league and the only team apart from EVE having a DGW in GW24.

🥇 Salah: He is an obvious one. He is a triple captaincy contender in GW24 for those of us who still have the chip intact.

🥈 TAA: Has been very underwhelming lately—1 big score followed by a lot of blanks—but you can’t go without him for a DGW.

🥉 Diaz/Gakpo: I don’t like them for a prolonged run of fixtures, but specifically for DGW24, you can start considering them from GW22 onwards.

None of them, in my opinion, will get guaranteed 180 minutes in the DGW. They are purely high-upside punts to boost your rank.

Prefer Luis Diaz more for those big hauls if they come.
