Best differentials to own for Game week 22

For our purposes, a differential refers to a player owned by around 15% or less of FPL managers.

1)Raul Jimenez (Ownership: 13.3%, Price: £5.7m)

I feel like I need to start with a Fulham attacker given how Leicester have been conceding chances for fun. Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s appointment has made little difference to their defensive data, with all the statistical evidence suggesting we should target attackers who play against them.

Jimenez has secured his starting spot in the Fulham team and most importantly, has played 90 minutes in each of the previous two fixtures. He should get plenty of chances to make a mark this week.

2)Bruno Fernandes (Ownership: 10.7%, Price: £8.4m)

Bruno Fernandes makes a case for selection given United’s upcoming schedule. He’s likely to play in the front three which gives him a great chance of getting points.

Bruno is just the ideal player to hold for a while – set pieces, penalties and a front three role along with the fixtures is a combo too good to pass up! Crucially, he has a great fixture against Leicester in blank Gameweek 29, when a lot of popular assets like Salah and Isak are likely to blank.

3) Eberechi Eze (Ownership: 8.9%, Price: £6.6m)

As long as Eze stays below the ownership threshold, he’ll be a fixture in my differential selections. With returns in each of the past three Gameweeks, I have no reason to switch things up!

Sarr may match Eze statistically, but the latter’s set-piece role and potential penalties make him the superior pick. Being budget-friendly, he makes it simpler to accommodate top assets such as Trent, Isak, Palmer, and Salah.

4Martin Odegaard (Ownership: 5.5%, Price: £8.3m)

A lot of FPL managers have been looking to sell Odegaard in recent times but I still think he is a good asset to hold. Arsenal should score at least a couple of goals against Aston Villa and I’d expect Odegaard to still be on penalties.

Odegaard is a strong set and forget option for the foreseeable, potentially even till the second time we use our Wildcard.

5) Ibrahima Konate (Ownership: 3.6%, Price: £5.1m)

Konate is back from injury just in time for Liverpool’s double Gameweek 24. Good fixtures before and after the double as well as Liverpool’s excellent defensive stats suggest he could be a smart pick if he can stay fit.
