Game Week 20: FPL Goat’s Fixture Ticker

Make sure you check out the FPL Player Rankings series to keep up to date with the best FPL assets.

1. Chelsea

The good run of fixtures are slowly coming to an end soon, they still have CRY, WOL in the next 4GW’s.

🥇 Palmer: He is as close to a must have as it gets, one of the first premium players along with Salah I would currently want in the team. 12 goals and 7 assists with 6 double digit hauls already and a talisman for Chelsea since last season.

🥈 Jackson: Jackson has 22 goals and 9 assist in 45 starts since he joined Chelsea. He also has 9 goals and 4 assists this season but has only scored 2 goals in the last 5GW’s , a big concern is he hardly plays more than 75 minutes which will lessen his appeal as the fixtures start to deteriorate.

He could now be sell as this is the second midweek he was benched. Southampton and now Ipswich which 2 were the prime fixtures.

🥉Colwill: I still think a Chelsea Defender will do well in this run, they are the joint 3rd defence in the league in terms of goals conceded

I like Enzo Fernandez as well, but if you have Palmer and Jackson already I wouldn’t want to triple attack on Chelsea.

2. Crystal Palace

They are currently the team with the best fixture run alongside Man City, they play LEI, WHU in the next 5GW’s.

🥇 Ismaila Sarr : One of the best cheap Midfielders to consider at the moment.

From the time he has started playing regularly since GW10, he has 4 goals 2 assists in 7GWs with 2 double digit hauls.

At just £5.8m he is gonna be a popular choice as a Saka replacement.

🥈 Daniel Munoz : Currently the best defender to get alongside TAA and Robinson.

2 goals 2 Assists and 57 pts this season despite his team only keeping 4 clean sheets all season. Amongs defenders he is top for shots in the box, big chances and xG. Palace have also tightened up their defence in the past few GW’s.

3. Fulham

The newest addition to the list of good fixtures are Fulham, they have just one win in the last 5GW’s but they also have failed to score just once this season.

🥇 Iwobi: Top scoring midfielder under £7m this season but a big differential as no one’s looking at him. 5 consecutive blanks but a great run fixtures, I really prefer him more than Rogers, semenyo and the other popular picks.

🥈 Antonee Robinson: 3 assists in the last 5GW’s, one of the best cheap defensive option.

🥉 Tim Castagne: Another cheap defender enabler to consider with Kenny tete out for 2-3 months atleast. I do prefer Robinson for his reliability and would pay more for him but if you wanna save £0.7m you can definitely consider Castagne.

4. Liverpool

Easily the best team in the world currently, Arne Slot’s side are currently playing like they are on a walk in the park. They now have absolutely amazing fixtures ahead both for their attack and defence.

🥇 Salah: Don’t need to say anything about him, just get him in your team and stick the captaincy on him vs Man United. 12 double digit hauls in 18GW’s, only 2 blanks all season.

🥈 TAA : He still doesn’t look like really good value a huge score in GW19, but the fixtures are not great for clean sheets yet. TAA is top for xA and big chances created amongs Defenders and got a goal last GW vs West Ham.

🥉 VVD : if you can’t afford Trent and want a cheaper option most reliable for minutes then it is VVD, he hardly misses any games and immense goal threat from set pieces.

5. Manchester City

Currently in their worst phase since Guardiola took over but form and phases are temporary and hopefully this time fixtures breed form unlike GW6.

🥇 Foden : In a scenario where there are no standout man city options Foden is the best and the player with huge upside. Foden slightly back in form perfectly time with great fixtures is the best Saka replacement. He has started just 8 games this season but has 6.39 xG to show for it, just 1G 2A he has massively underperformed.

🥈 Haaland : I don’t think he justifies his price at all but i can see him being an option as people move on Saka now and invest more in forwards. Man City assets and Haaland betrayed us when their fixtures turned for good in GW6 but I can see a turnaround from Man City very soon.
