Game Week 19: BigManBakar’s Best Differentials

For a pure list of all FPL Players ranked check out Ingenuity’s FPL Player Rankings section.

Eberechi Eze (Ownership: 7.1%, Price: £6.6m)

Owned by just 7.1% of FPL managers—most of them being inactive teams—Eze could be a really nice differential in the weeks to come, especially for those looking at a Bruno Fernandes replacement. Palace have a really strong run of fixtures from this point, which is a major part of his appeal.

Anyone who owned him earlier in the season must recall how unlucky Eze has been—he’s in the top three midfielders for underperformance this season. Both he and Sarr have similar underlying data, but I marginally prefer Eze because of the fact that he’s on set pieces and has an outside chance of being on penalties, especially with Mateta not on the field.

Crucially, Eze’s price allows FPL managers to afford the likes of Trent, Isak, and Alisson, who are integral to our plans in the times to come.

Martin Ødegaard (Ownership: 7.2%, Price: £8.4m)

If you’re looking for a like-for-like Bruno replacement this week, look no further than Ødegaard. With Saka reportedly out for 10+ weeks, Ødegaard should take an increasing share of the set pieces and is expected to be on penalties. This makes Ødegaard a really strong set-and-forget option for the foreseeable future, potentially even until the second time we use our Wildcard.

Daniel Muñoz (Ownership: 3.4%, Price: £4.7m)

I’m backing Daniel Muñoz as a solid pick from here on. At just 3.4% ownership, he leads defenders for xG this season, providing chances for both defensive and attacking returns. Palace’s upcoming fixture swing further boosts his prospects. Furthermore, they have the best clean sheet probability out of all teams this week, so chances of immediate returns appear high.

Jurriën Timber (Ownership: 7.8%, Price: £5.7m)

Jurriën Timber remains a player I back week after week in this column. Arsenal rank second for xG conceded, highlighting their defensive strength. Timber, more affordable than Saliba and Gabriel, has also delivered in attack recently, with two returns—one against Sporting in the Champions League and another in Gameweek 14 against Manchester United.

Alisson (Ownership: 6.4%, Price: £5.4m)

For those with Flekken, who’s doubtful this week, upgrading to Alisson is a no-brainer if you can afford it. Liverpool’s impressive defensive metrics and a possible Gameweek 24 double make Alisson an excellent option. He’s a reliable set-and-forget pick for the weeks ahead.
