Game Week 17: FPL Goat’s Fixture Ticker

Ingenuity & Brad Mayor have recently launched their weekly FPL Rankings Series, Check it out here

1. Arsenal

Now is the best time to get 2-3 Arsenal players in your team after some tougher fixtures which went by.
🥇 Saka: 5 goals and 11 assists this season, he is top for assists top for chances created top for big chances created and top for xA. Him and Arsenal in general struggled a bit with the Odegaard injury but with him being back Saka looks like a completely different player. 4 double digit hauls this season and many more to come.
🥈 Gabriel: Currently the top scoring defender in the game and the defender to own, a literal menace from set pieces and corners. Great set of fixtures for Arsenal. Gabriel scored last GW vs West Ham but was subbed off at half time as a precaution and I think he should be fine for the next GW’s to come.
🥉 Timber/Saliba: It looks like they are again back to being solid defensively and a double defence will be rewarding. Pick whoever you want as per you budget and they will come good.

2. Bournemouth

The tougher fixtures have gone by and now is the time to get 1-2 Bournemouth players in
🥇Semenyo: The best Bournemouth player to own currently, he has 4 goals and an assist despite playing one of the toughest teams in the league. He also scored in GW11 vs Man City and in the next 6 GW’s he plays 3 of the worst defences in the league.
🔴 He is also now back from suspension. He got his much deserved rest and is ready to go for the festive period.
🥈 Evanilson: A great cheap forward option at £6.1m who is now starting games regularly for his team. He has 4 goals and 4 assist in the league this season, and Bournemouth’s great fixtures mean his form is likely to continue.
🥉 Kerkez: Bournemouth defensively at home are top 3 in almost every underlying stats and you could rotate him and play him in just home game.

3. Brighton

Brighton now have a run of incredible fixtures for the next 10 GW’s at the least where they play all 3 promoted teams and only play Arsenal among the top 4 PL teams.
🥇 Joao Pedro: He has become a very frustrating own now with only an assist in the last 4. Still a decent option at £5.9m but could see a benching here and there but currently looks like their best attacker.
🥈 Welbeck: Looks bang in form since the start of the season. Hurzeler has made him a different beast since taking over. 6 goals and 2 assists, despite him not starting he is still a good option
🔴 Also I don’t like the Brighton defence at all as I’ve been mentioning it every week so I couldn’t recommend anyone not even the GK Verbruggen.

4. Chelsea

Chelsea have one of the fixtures runs of any team that lasts till GW25 where they play all 3 promoted teams.
🥇 Palmer : He is as close to a must have as it gets, one of the first premium players along with Salah I would currently want in my FPL team. 11 goals and 7 assists with 5 double digit hauls already and a talisman for Chelsea since last season. After 4 blanks in 5GWs he has finally got 3 goals and an assist with incredible fixtures coming up.
🥈 Jackson : Jackson has 22 goals and 9 assist in 44 starts since he joined Chelsea. He also has 8 goals and 4 assists this season, only Haaland among Forwards have more attacking returns. Keep in mind that Jackson is on 4 yellows and could miss a game if he gets a 5th yellow.
🥉Colwill : I still think a Chelsea Defender will do well in this run, they are the joint 3rd defence in the league in terms of goals conceded. I like Enzo Fernandez as well, but if you have Palmer and Jackson already I would not want to triple attack on Chelsea.

5. Fulham

The newest addition to the list of good fixtures are Fulham. They have just one win in the last 5 GW’s but they also have failed to score just once this season.
🥇 Iwobi: Top scoring midfielder under £7m this season but a big differential as no one’s looking at him. 3 goals and an assist in the last 5GWs and a great run fixtures, I really prefer him to Rogers, Semenyo and the other popular Midfield picks.
🥈 Antonee Robinson : 3 assists in the last 5GWs, one of the best cheap defensive option. Kenny Tete another great option cheaper than Robinson with similar xGI.

6. Newcastle United

Newcastle United have been one of the most inconsistent teams this season with their form and performances very hard to predict. Now they have a decent run of fixtures which lasts till GW24.
🥇 Isak: He is the only Newcastle option i would consider. 7 goals and 4 assist in 14 starts, he also got a goal and an assist vs Liverpool who are the best defence in the league. Currently I still prefer Jackson in terms of the fixtures long term.
🔴 I still don’t like Lewis Hall as a defensive option despite his haul last GW.

7. Liverpool

Easily the best team in the world currently. Arne Slot’s side are currently playing like they are on a walk in the park. They now have absolutely amazing fixtures ahead both for their attack and defence.
🥇 Salah : Don’t need to say anything about him, just get him in your team and stick the captaincy vs Everton. 10 double digit hauls in 14 GW’s, 4 consecutive double digit hauls and only 2 blanks all season.
🥈 TAA : He still doesn’t look like really good value but the fixtures are absolutely amazing, he also took a lot of shots vs Man City and almost scored. He was rested in GW14 and ready to go vs Everton who have just scored 14 goals in 14 games.
🥉 VVD : if you can’t afford Trent and want a cheaper option most reliable for minutes then it is VVD. Hardly misses any game and immense goal threat from set pieces. He came close twice vs man city via 2 incredible headers.
