Game Week 14: FPL Goat’s Fixture Ticker

1. Bournemouth

The tougher fixtures have gone by and now is the time to get 1-2 Bournemouth players in.

🥇Semenyo : The best Bournemouth player to own currently, he has 4 goals and an assist despite playing one of the toughest teams in the league. He also scored in GW11 vs Man City and in the next 6GWs he plays 3 of the worst defences in the league.

🔴 He is also now back from suspension and got his much deserved rest and is ready to go for the festive period.

🥈 Evanilson : A great cheap forward option at £6.9m who is now starting games regularly for his team. He has 4 goals and 4 assist in the league this season, all his attacking returns have come in the last 6 GWs, he has scored in the last 3 consecutive games and looks to be in form. He also got 3 assists and became the player to win 3 penalties in one game in PL history.

🥉 Kerkez : Bournemouth defensively at home are top 3 in almost every underlying stats and you could rotate him and play him in just home game. He also got his first goal of the season v WOL.

2. Arsenal

How is the best time to get 2-3 Arsenal players in your team after some tougher fixtures which went by.

🥇 Saka : 5 goals and 11 assists this season, he is top for assists, chances created, big chances created and top for xA. Him and Arsenal in general struggled a with the Odegaard injury but with him being back, Saka looks like a completely different player. 4 double digit hauls this season and many more to come.

🥈 Gabriel : Currently the top scoring defender in the game and the Defender to own. He is literal menace from set pieces and corners. Great set of fixtures for Arsenal and Gabriel scored last GW vs West Ham but was subbed off at half time as a precaution. I think he should be fine for the next GWs to come.

🥉 Ødegaard : As much as I like Raya for that third midfield spot I prefer to have some fun and get another Arsenal attacker in. Think they are going to score a lot of goals more than keeping clean sheets, Odegaard always involved in majority of the chances and goals they create. He has 1 goal and 2 assists in 3 games since he has returned from injury, basically he has had a return in every game since he was back from injury. 12 chances created and 2 big chances created in the last 3 GWs – he has potential of some huge hauls with great fixtures.

3. Brighton

Brighton now have a run of incredible fixtures for the next 10 GWs at the least where they play all 3 promoted teams and only play Arsenal among the top 4 PL teams

🥇 Joao Pedro : He has been very very unlucky with the injuries this season, he has started just 3 games this season scoring 2 goals in that time. He came on for a 25 minutes cameo vs Man City and single-handedly turned the game into Brighton’s favour with a goal and an assist. An incredible option at £5.4m. I could see a benching here and there, but he currently looks like their best attacker.

2. Welbeck : Looks bang in form since the start of the season, Hurzeler has made him a different beast since taking over. 6 goals and 2 assists this season, only wood and Haaland have more points among Forwards.

🔴 I was wrong thinking Welbeck is worth the extra £0.5m. I think right now with the form and given he stays fit Joao Pedro is the best Brighton attacking option.

🔴 Also I don’t like the Brighton defence at all as I’ve been mentioning it every week, so i couldn’t recommend anyone not even the GK Verbruggen.

4. Newcastle United

Newcastle United have been one of the most inconsistent teams this season with their form and performances very hard to predict. Now they have a decent run of fixtures which lasts till GW24. It’s a shame that with Isak now injured Newcastle really don’t have standout options in attack and I don’t like their defence. I would skip them altogether, you could still think of Gordon or Hall if you still want their assets.

5. Wolves

A very underwhelming team so far who have been at the receiving at of everything, they are also the team without a win along with Southampton and Ipswich. They had one of the worst run of fixtures to start the season with but tides have turned and they now have the best run of fixtures till atleast GW17 in which they play all three promoted teams along with Palace and Everton who are also bottom five in the league.

🥇 Cunha : He has 7 goals and 3 assists in 11 starts this season, he is the best cheap forward to own.

🥈 Rayan Ait-Nouri : Despite having one of the worst fixtures he has been able to get 3 goals and 2 assists being a full back. He had a goal against Liverpool and an assist vs Chelsea, clean sheets may be hard to come by but his X factor is his immense attacking potential.

🥉 Strand Larsen : A decent option with a brace last GW but I would still keep Cunha way ahead of him and wouldn’t buy Larsen if you can afford Cunha.

6. Chelsea

Chelsea have one of the fixtures runs of any team that lasts till GW25 where they play all 3 promoted teams.

🥇 Palmer : He is as close to a must have as it gets, one of the first premium players along with Salah I would currently want in the team. 8 goals and 6 assists with 4 double digit hauls already and a talisman for Chelsea since last season. After 4 blanks in 5 GWs he has finally got a goal and an assist with incredible fixtures coming up.

🥈 Jackson : Jackson has 21 goals and 9 assist in 4 starts since he joined Chelsea. He also has 7 goals and 4 assists this season, only Haaland among forwards have more attacking returns. Keep in mind that Jackson is on 4 yellows and could miss a game if he gets a 5th yellow.

🥉 Rob Sanchez : He is one of the best GK options to get right now and also on wildcard.
