Game Week 10: FPL Goat’s Fixture Ticker

Brentford

Brentford has one of the best fixture runs for the next few GWs, and there are several cheap options to consider from them.

🥇 Mbeumo: The best midfielder to get right now with amazing fixtures.

🥈 Wissa: Wissa, at £5.9, is one of the best forward options now that he is back from an injury that kept him out since GW5. He already has a goal and an assist in his first start after the injury. Before his injury, he had 3 goals and an assist in the first 4 GWs.

🥉 Flekken: Flekken is currently top for saves and is a decent £4.5m option.

Chelsea

Chelsea has one of the best fixture runs of any team that lasts until GW22, where they play all 3 promoted teams.

🥇 Palmer: He is as close to a must-have as it gets, one of the first premium players, along with Salah, I would currently want in the team. 7 goals and 5 assists with 3 double-digit hauls already, and a talisman for Chelsea since last season.

🥈 Jackson: Jackson has 20 goals and 8 assists in 40 starts since he joined Chelsea. He also has 6 goals and 3 assists this season; only Haaland among forwards has more attacking returns.

Everton

Everton has been one of the worst teams in terms of both their attack and defence.

🥇 McNeil: At the moment, he is the best midfielder to own under £6m. McNeil is 3rd best for big chances created and 2nd for xA in the league.

🥉 Pickford: They haven’t been solid defensively, but with good fixtures, I think there will be clean sheets, and whenever Everton keeps a clean sheet, there is a chance Pickford is on for maximum bonus points.

Fulham

Fulham had a decent start to the season with great signings, and they have a decent run of fixtures now until GW14.

🥇 Raul Jimenez: One of the best cheap forwards in the game, he has 3 goals and 3 assists since he has regularly started for Fulham.

🥈 Smith Rowe: One of the signings of the season so far, with 2 goals and an assist in 7 starts. He might see reduced minutes in games where Fulham needs fresh legs, but overall, he’s a great option.

Manchester United

One of the disappointments of the season, Man United has had one of their worst opening 7 games in history, but fixtures breed form, and I expect them to recover now. The new manager, Amorim, will now be in charge, and the team is likely to see a major boost in morale in the short term regardless of the coaching.

🥇 Onana: The best GK option to go for alongside Raya. Onana is top for saves and top for clean sheets as well.

🥈 Bruno Fernandes: One of the trolls of the season for his owners, he is massively underperforming his xGI of 3.9 and has just 1 assist to show so far.

🥉 Dalot: He is a great alternative to Onana with slightly better upside even without clean sheets.

Newcastle United

Newcastle United has been one of the most inconsistent teams this season, with their form and performances very hard to predict. Now they have a decent run of fixtures, which lasts until GW24.

🥇 Isak: He is the only Newcastle option I would consider. 2 goals and an assist in 6 starts; he also has the 2nd best xG in the league from GW8 and 9 since his return from injury. A great run of fixtures means it could be time to get him.

Tottenham Hotspur

One of the best teams this season in terms of underlying stats, both offensively and defensively.

🥇 Solanke: Despite missing 2 games because of injury, he is 3rd for shots on target and 4th for xG. Spurs as a team are top for xG for the season as well. He has been an absolute pain to own, but I would keep him for the Villa and Ipswich games before looking to sell him.

🥈 Maddison: I really prefer him over Johnson if you have the extra cash to spare. Maddison has better creativity than Kulusevski and equal attacking threat to Johnson. He has better xA numbers than Kulusevski and a far better xGI than Johnson.

🥉 Brennan Johnson: Johnson is top among midfielders, alongside Salah, for shots inside the box and 3rd among midfielders for xG, which makes him an amazing option below £7m.

Wolves

A very underwhelming team so far, who have been on the receiving end of everything. They are also the only team without a win, along with Southampton and Ipswich.

They had one of the worst runs of fixtures to start the season, but tides have turned, and they now have the best run of fixtures until at least GW17, in which they play all 3 promoted teams along with Palace and Everton, who are also in the bottom 5 in the league.

🥇 Cunha: According to some reports, Cunha did train normally, but he had an ice pack on his knee after training, so that might be something to monitor in the press conference. He has 4 goals in 8 starts this season. At £6.5m, he is a decent cheap forward if you are looking to invest more into your midfield.

🥈 Rayan Ait-Nouri: Despite having one of the worst fixtures, he has managed to get 3 goals and 2 assists as a full-back. He had a goal against Liverpool and an assist vs. Chelsea. Clean sheets may be hard to come by, but his X-factor is his immense attacking potential.

🥉 Strand Larsen: If you are extremely tight on budget, go for Larsen, who saves £1m over Cunha. 3 goals and an assist, but xGI is relatively lower than Cunha’s. I still prefer Cunha as a prime Wolves attacker.
