Wrexham vs Birmingham: Team News, Predictions and Best Odds.

It’s the American Civil War as Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s Wrexham take on Tom Brady’s Birmingham City.

Wrexham come into this game with only 1 defeat in their last 6, whereas Birmingham enter with a lot more of a mixed bag as far as recent form goes. Birmingham were however unbeaten against Wrexham in League One last year which could provide the away team with mental edge.

One things for sure though, Wrexham vs Birmingham or ‘El Celebrico’, will certainly have more eyes on it than your average Championship match up. For all Premier League predicted Line-Ups make sure you check out our Predicted Line-Ups Hub.

Team News

Danny Ward, Liberato Cacare, Jay Rodriguez, Andy Cannon and Oliver Rathbone are all still side-lined for Wrexham. Josh Windass is also still dealing with a small knock picked up against Leicester in Tuesdays 1-1 draw. This should open the floor for Nathan Broadhead to continue his scoring form after rescuing a point in the same fixture. It was the Welshman’s first Championship goal for Wrexham since his £7.5m move from Ipswich Town.

There is also plenty of chopping and changing on the Birmingham side. Birmingham also have a handful of players side-lined including Scott Wright, Keshi Anderson, Lee Buchanan and Willum Willumsson. Jack Robinson returns from suspension and should slot straight back into the starting 11 ahead of Eiran Cashin. Lyndon Dykes, Lewis Koumas and Paik Seung-Ho all return to the squad; however it remains to be seen if they will be handed the start. Tommy Doyle and Patrick Roberts are ones to watch as they were hooked off early during the fixture against Sheffield United.

Predicted Line-Up

Wrexham:

By all accounts it seems like Wrexham look set to name a fairly similar 11 from the team who faced Leicester on Tuesday.

Birmingham:

Birmingham’s starting 11 is a lot more up for debate making predicting the line-ups tricky. Here is how we predicted the Blues could line-up this evening.

Best Odds

Sticking on the theme of entertainment, Sky Sports, Friday Night under the lights, Wrexham vs Birmingham could very well live up to its Hollywood billing. Wrexham enter the game with better form but Birmingham enters with the better Head-to-Head record. Both teams will be keen to get the win and not just settle for a draw as a result, we are expecting an open game as a result.

We really like Kiefer Moore & Jay Stansfield both 2 have 2 shots on the target and both teams to score at 20/1!

These 2 talismans will be eager to grab the headlines, and this could lead to plenty of shots being let fly.
