Simulating the Rest of the 25/26 Season

Will Arsenal hold off Man City? Can Barcelona stay clear of Madrid? We simulate the rest of the 25/26 season across all major European leagues.

Simulating the Rest of the 25/26 Season

I’ve found a mod that gives you the same results as real life and means you can start the season in January in exactly (well, incredibly close) the same place that real life is. So it means I can simulate the rest of the season and see what Football Manager thinks will happen across the rest of the season. If you want to do the same, here’s the add-on.

It’s a couple of points off for a few of them as it’s not the exact date – but it’s as close as you’re going to get on this game (and for the Premier League I’ll minus and add the points so we get a proper simulated table. So, what does the most accurate game in the world think  is going to happen over the rest of the 25/26 season?! Let’s dive in

Premier League

Table when accounting for + and – points (the difference between the virtual table and irl)

  1. Arsenal – 90 points
  2. Man City – 81 points
  3. Liverpool – 76 points
  4. Aston Villa – 70 points
  5. Newcastle – 61 points
  6. Spurs – 60 points
  7. Chelsea – 58 points
  8. Man United – 57 points
  9. Crystal Palace – 55 points
  10. Bournemouth – 52 points
  11. Everton – 49 points
  12. Brentford – 49 points
  13. Leeds – 49 points
  14. Brighton – 47 points
  15. Sunderland – 44 points
  16. Fulham – 44 points
  17. Burnley – 32 points
  18. Nottingham Forest – 31 points
  19. Wolves – 23 points
  20. West Ham – 19 points

Arsenal easily win the title. It’s incredibly close outside the top four in the UCL/Europa League spots. Leeds end up comfortably surviving in the end. It runs to the wire between Burnley and Forest. Wolves overtake West Ham, with the East London club running dangerously close to the Derby points record.
