How Many Times do Arsenal Win The Double in 10,000 Sims?

The remaining reason was simulated 10,000 times! See how many times Arsenal actually secures the Premier League and Champions League double.

How Many Times do Arsenal Win The Double in 10,000 Sims?

Arsenal have had a brilliant season. There’s no two ways about it. Whether you love them or hate them, they have been remarkably efficient defensivey and from set-pieces. People will be split into two camps about what they want to happen at the end of the season, though. If you’re an Arsenal fan, the dream of the best double almost seems too good to be true. If you’re a rival fan, you can’t think of anything worse. This is the part in a Football Manager save where boys get turned into men and legends are made. The league is within reach, Europe is still alive and suddenly you are wondering whether the game is about to let you do something stupidly special. Will Arsenal achieve this? Lets find out

The latest projections come from FusionSim, a football simulation and analytics platform that runs large batches of simulated seasons to estimate how likely different outcomes are across leagues and cup competitions. They do this over 10,000 simulations.

Chances of Arsenal winning the Premier League?.

In the Premier League, Arsenal are being treated as the side with control of the title race. Across 10,000 simulations, they win the league 83.5% of the time, which works out at 8,350 title wins. Manchester City are the only other side left in the picture, taking the title in the remaining 16.5%, or 1,650 simulations. Arsenal’s average finishing position is 1.2, with an average points total of 82.3, which makes the picture pretty clear: it sees Arsenal as the overwhelming favourites.

Chances of Arsenal winning the Champions League.

e Champions League is where it gets even more interesting, because knockout football should be far harder to predict with any real comfort. One bad half, one red card, one goalkeeper turning into prime Buffon and the entire thing can collapse. But Arsenal still come out on top. In the FusionSim Champions League probabilities, Arsenal are given a 45.5% chance of winning the competition, ahead of PSG on 29.1% and Bayern Munich on 25.4%. In simulation terms, that means Arsenal lift the Champions League in roughly 4,550 out of 10,000 runs.

Chances of them winning the Double?

The combined picture needs a caveat, because we do not have an official FusionSim figure for Arsenal winning both competitions in the same simulation. The Premier League and Champions League figures are separate outputs, so they should not be presented as a confirmed double probability. But as a rough independent estimate, multiplying the two headline probabilities gives Arsenal around a 38.0% chance of winning both. That works out at roughly 3,799 double-winning scenarios out of 10,000. It is not a perfect calculation, because real outcomes are not fully independent, but it is a useful way of showing the scale of what the model is implying.

So no, the simulations do not guarantee anything. Football is still football, and Arsenal supporters know better than most that probability is not the same as a parade. But the latest numbers do place them in an extraordinary position: heavy Premier League favourites, the most likely Champions League winners, and, by rough combined estimate, a serious candidate for one of the greatest seasons in the club’s history.
