40 Players Predicted to Get Biggest Upgrades In Football Manager 26

It’s been so long since we last had a new Football Manager that a lot of the players abilities will be seriously out of date. After all, nearly two whole seasons have passed since it refreshed. It feels like a lifetime ago and so FM26 is going to look a lot different. Thankfully, there is a website that has analysed which players are due the biggest upgrade. EFEM.club is a website that has created an algorithm that has determined a players current ability and potential ability. They use a mix of growth attributes, max potential and more to work out what level a player truly is.

And now they’ve released a list of the players that will get the biggest upgrades in Football Manager 2026 according to the algorithm, and here they are:

  1. Ryan Gravenberch – has become a key player of a title winning Liverpool side
  2. Estevao – in FM24 he wasn’t one of the hottest wonderkids, he is now
  3. Raul Asencio
  4. Vitor Reis
  5. Pau Cubarsi – is developing into a key member of a brilliant Barcelona team at just 18-years-old
  6. Myles Lewis-Skelly – he wasn’t as big a name back in FM24 – but now everyone knows who this young prodigy is
  7. Desire Doue – he’s turned into one of the best players in the world in this PSG team
  8. Geovany Quenda
  9. Murillo – a crucial player now for a Nottingham Forest team seriously on the rise
  10. Alexandra Pavlovic – now a key player in one of the best teams in the world
  11. Morgan Rogers – I don’t think anyone foresaw how quickly he’d become incredible
  12. Hugo Ekitike – he was already good on FM – but now he’s going to the next level
  13. Rodrigo Mora
  14. Maghnes Akliouche
  15. Cole Palmer – he was decent on FM24. But now he’s legitimately one of the best players in the world.
  16. Dean Huijsen – you don’t go from Bournemouth to Real Madrid unless you’re very talented
  17. Benjamin Sesko – his potential ability is finally turning into his current ability
  18. Liam Delap – scoring that many goals in that Ipswich team, getting a move to Chelsea off it, is bound to get you an upgrade
  19. Omar Marmoush
  20. Willian Pacho
  21. Joao Neves
  22. Lucas Bergvall – finally converting his potential ability into an increase in current ability
  23. Ethan Nwaneri – I’ve got a feeling this fella is just going to keep on going up and up and up
  24. Abdukodir Khusanov – this jump is more them finding out who he is
  25. Moise Kean – one of the oldest players to get a big upgrade. He’s finally fulfilling the potential he showed as a wonderkid
  26. Angelo Stiller
  27. Jesus Rodriguez
  28. Lamine Yamal – he’s gone from elite to best player in the world. You won’t be able to afford him.
  29. Adam Wharton
