Anyway, without further ado, let’s get stuck into the Gameweek 27 key tips.

This is a frequently asked question at the moment as a lot of people are now reaching the end of Chelsea’s 4 game stretch. To be honest, the answer differs depending on the asset you own. Chelsea face, Arsenal, Villa, Newcastle, Everton, City and United. So in short, if you own any Chelsea defender they are an absolute sell. No ifs, no buts. I don’t care if you like Chalobah or James or Cucurella, there are way better defensive options over that stretch. That includes Sanchez of course.
REMINDER: This is for after the Burnley game. Do not sell any Chelsea before they play Burnley. It is just good to think about now so you can plan FTs.
Where it gets interesting however is in the other positions. Not least given how leaky Arsenal, Newcastle, United defences have been etc. Now this may be controversial, but I don’t even mind holding Enzo for a bit if you need to. He has got super unlucky with returns recently. Especially in relation to Palmer. Despite blanking in his last 2 games, Enzo was still in the thick of the action, accruing a combined xGI of 1.85 across the 2 games.
Now granted, when Palmer is on the field Enzo is not as advanced and is not on penalties. So when you combine this with his fixtures, he is definitely an ok sell. However, he has shown there is still threat there so if you want to hold him then that is also ok. I think perhaps my main reason for selling him would be the plethora of other great options and the fact I have 4 FTs in the bank. However, if you are low on FTs then he is a fine hold.
Now when it comes to other Chelsea attackers like Joao Pedro and Palmer, these are not sells. Honestly, I see no reason why these 2 can’t continue to return against some of the upcoming opposition. If you own either you, then keep holding and riding the train. I wouldn’t be scared of any defence right now if I owned these 2.

Now this is a big question, particularly as many are moving off the likes of Enzo and looking for other great options. For risk of clogging up with too much wording we will rank our top 10 here quickly (Under £7m).
All are great options and there’s no doubt we will have got a few wrong here. This is just price point and personal preference combined with fixture difficulty.

Aston Villa: Rogers, Martinez, Cash, Watkins, defenders.
Bournemouth: Rayan, Adli, Hill, Senesi, Tavernier.
Palace (If factoring in GW31 blank): Munoz, Sarr, Richards
Fulham: Wilson, Andersen.
Liverpool: Ekitike, Wirtz, Salah, Szoboszlai, VVD.
City (If factoring in GW31 blank): Guehi, Semenyo, O’Reilly, Donnaruma, Nunes
United: Bruno F, Mbeumo

If you had previously gone for 3 strikers early in the season then there is a strong chance you were disappointed at times. Not least considering the performances of some defenders and midfielders. However, for the first time this season, I think I can confidently say, 3 strikers is the way to go for this upcoming run. This is in no small part down to the swing we’ve seen from midfielders towards strikers as far as elite options go. At present, the ideal front line consists of some combo of these following players:
3 out of 4 have fantastic fixtures, and even Joao Pedro has 9 returns in 5 games. Green light time.

If you still have your wildcard, then holding until GW31, GW32 or GW34 is going to be the play.
If you still have FH, then you are looking at GW31, GW33 or the end of season when players get rested.
If you still have BB, then the best time to play it is whenever you feel like it. This should be centred around your team and your bench during specific GWs.
If you still have TC then we would wait and see which doubles end up emerging from cup games but your opportunity will come. If you still have your TC then you alrady have a big advantage on those who used it on Gabriel so get excited.
Basically, if you have any chips available, they are all going to come in handy from GW31 onwards, so make sure you resist the urge to play them before then. With the exception of BB which you can play whenever you feel like it.
