The Best FPL Gameweek 25 Differentials

With wildcards and transfers flying everywhere right now, this could be your chance to snap up some of the many fantastic differentials who are floating around right now.

Anyway, without further ado, let’s get stuck into Gameweek 25’s best differential options.

 

James Hill – £3.9m

Ownership: 1.2%

As far as value for money goes, it really doesn’t get much better than Hill. He has played 90 minutes the last 6 league games in a row and appears to have locked down the starting role. What’s even more significant, is the fact he has hit DefCon threshold in 5 of his last 6 and is averaging 12 a game over the same period. Missing the threshold by 1 contribution in the week he didn’t get it.

Bournemouth’s upcoming fixtures are fantastic, so the prospect of more clean sheets combined with the DefCon and price point make Hill a fantastic asset.

 

Eliot Anderson – £5.3m

Ownership: 5%

Arguably not a differential amongst the elite but we will include him in here as he is still only 5% owned. Averaging close to 14, yes 14…DefCons a game is enough to make anyone take notice. Meaning he essentially enters every game with a floor of 4 points. Which is a fantastic quality for a 4^th or 5^th midfielder. This often lands him in good stead for bonus points, highlighted by the 3 he picked up against Palace. His ceiling isn’t the highest given his role and team but he has one of the highest floors in the league. Safe as houses. 7, 5, 5, 7 in his last 4 with only 1 assist is pretty solid treading.

 

Amad Diallo – £6.2m

Ownership: 1.7%

With Dorgu’s long term injury now finally set in stone, Amad could be looking at an extended run, in a premium position in a very high-powered attack. When starting in one of the 10 roles under Amorim, Amad accrued an xGI per 90 of 0.45. So, in an even more high-powered attack and the same sort of role, whose to say the returns won’t come. He has quietly ticked along with 2 goals and 4 assists so far in the league so with a better attack and great fixtures, this could only improve.

There is a minutes risk with Carrick potentially starting Sesko and sliding Mbeumo to RW but with 3 wins on the bounce now I can’t imagine he’ll be in a rush to change what’s working.

 

Yasin Ayari – £4.8m

Ownership: 1.1%

Speaking of great value, Brighton’s Ayari is next up. With 8 starts in Brighton’s last 9 league games it would appear the starting job is Ayari’s. More significantly however, have been his 5 returns in his last 6 games.

Even more significantly however, is the fact that he is averaging 11.3 Defcons a game in his last 7. This combination of attacking output and defensive contribution output is simply unheard of at the FPL level.
