Crystal Palace Predicted Lineup:

Crystal Palace Team News:

Palace have had a pretty clean bill of health for their preferred starters for the majority of this season outside of short stint’s on the sidelines for Sarr and Wharton earlier in the season, so once again Glasner gets to opt for his strongest starting XI and an unchanged starting lineup from their win over Wolves last weekend.

Marc Guehi missed the game against Brighton prior to the international break with a knock but returned to the starting lineup and wore the armband in the win over Wolves last weekend.

Pino has been a direct Eze replacement and has settled in to his time in England well and has formed a strong front 3 with Sarr and Mateta.

Kamada has been Glasner’s preferred partner for Wharton for the majority of this season despite some solid performances for Will Hughes.

Mateta is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and there is just no way for Eddie Nketiah to find his way in to this side outside of domestic Cup games.

Crystal Palace Players to Watch:

Guehi: Returned to the starting lineup after a knock kept him out of the GW11 game against Brighton.

Pino: Has been a direct Eze replacement and has played well.

Manchester United Predicted Lineup:

Manchester United Team News:

Amorim provided updates on Sesko, Cunha and Maguire in his Friday press conferences. Amorim stated that “(Benjamin) Sesko is going to take more time, Harry [Maguire] the same… [Matheus] Cunha I am expected for the next one, not this one”. Sesko we all knew would be out for weeks so no major change there. Cunha missing out on this game against Palace was also expected as we stated earlier in the week, but to get confirmation he will likely be back next week is great news.

Speaking on Friday to the media Amorim revealed that “Maguire is not ready. Kobbie [Mainoo] didn’t train today but I think tomorrow we could see Kobbie, so we will see”. As we expected, Yoro started at RCB with De Ligt and Shaw partnering. Despite the loss the same trio likely starts at CB this weekend.

He also revealed that “[Lisandro Martinez] is becoming close to be ready to play. Of course we need to be careful as he is going to struggle in the first [few] minutes. He is clearly in the better position compared to two weeks ago”. Martinez is unlikely to be back this week but there is a chance he is training on grass or even off to the side on his road to recovery.

Sesko is set to miss 3-4 more weeks. Speaking last Friday Amorim confirmed that “He (Sesko) is going to stay out for a few weeks, I don’t know how long, but it is not that serious… We have to be careful with him, he is going to recover, he is doing the recovery and is feeling better. So in a few weeks I expect to have Ben”. While this is obviously not a positive injury report there are positives to take, one being Amorim saying it is not that serious and two the somewhat concrete timeline of expecting to have him back in a few weeks. We will see Sesko back before the end of the year.

Lisandro Martinez  is training with Argentina but will not play with the national team, according to Simon Stone of the BBC. This must mean he is nearing a return, but may still be weeks away from seeing game action.

Manchester United Players to Watch:

Maguire: Was not in the squad for Everton so likely will not be fit to play less than 6 days later.

Sesko: Expected back in 3-4 weeks.

Mount: Could be selected ahead of Zirkzee to start in the front 3 as a Sesko replacement.

Yoro: Will start in Maguire’s place until he returns and potentially even when he does.

Amad: Will of course start, but will shift back to RWB if Cunha returns. If he does not he will play as one of the 10’s with Mbeumo.

Mazraoui: Will start at RWB if Cunha is not fit and Amad plays further forward.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United Preview & Predicted Score:

Score Prediction: Crystal Palace 3-1 Manchester United
