The main man himself FPL Goat is back once again to bring you his essential GW6 Fixture Ticker. Nothing gets you prepared to dominate your FPL leagues like his FPL Fixture Ticker.
🥇 Gabriel: Arsenal have conceded the least big chances and are 2nd bestbdoe xGC and clean sheets behind Newcastle despite playing Man United, Liverpool and Man City.
🥈 Gyokeres: He has been pretty underwhelming apart from his brace vs Leeds. He has had 0.00 xG vs MUN, MCI, LIV but a silver lining is good fixtures and Saka being back. Gyokeres could be on pens, we expect a big boost in his form
🥉 Raya: Most are in hunt for a goalkeeper and Raya is the one with the team’s defensive form coinciding with good fixtures. A double up on arsenal defence Could prove to be a bit differential. I also like the double defence more than Saka + Gyokeres.
🥇 Semenyo: It’s insane, I haven’t seen a player rise 7 times in 5 GWs in recent times. He is 3rd best for shots, and just behind haaland for big chances and xG. £7.7m is still a good price to get him in, he will be on penalties till there’s no Kluivert starting.
🥈 Senesi: Easily the best £5m and under defender to get alongside Richards and Andersen. Senesi is the only defender with tarkowski to have hit DEFCON points in all 5GWs so far.
🥇 Haaland: It’s pretty self explanatory, he is the best captaincy option this week and also the best triple captaincy option. 6 goals in 5 games in PL and it’s crazy to think this is his worst start for Man City.
🥈 Donnarumma: Recommending him only because of the fixtures they have otherwise I am still not convinced by the man city defence. They are mid-table for almost every defensive underlying numbers
🥉 Reijnders: A decent option at his price still, 1 goal and 2 assists seems pretty good but Reijnders as an FPL asset completely depends on where pep plays him which is very unpredictable. He currently is on a good run with Marmoush out but once Marmoush is fit Reijnders could again shift to defensive midfield.
They have had a very tough run of fixtures for the first 5 GWs yet the crazy part of they are top for xG created in the league. They have also created 11 Big chances but have missed 7 of them which is why they are pretty wasteful at the moment but the fixtures do turn now and they look decent in the long term
🥇 Bruno Fernandes: He has had an on and off season so far with him being non existent in 3 of the 5 fixtures but hauling big vs Burnley and Chelsea. He has hit Defcon twice already and was close to hitting DEFCON in other 2 games which boosts his appeal further.
He has only one red fixture in the next 10 GWs means you can keep him for as long as you want.
NOTE: At the moment I would not consider any other Manchester United assets until they improve both defensively and offensively.
They have started the season amazingly well under Thomas Frank, almost seamless with the new boss and a plethora of new signings. 3 wins in the first 5 GWs and all of them very comprehensive with them scoring 3 each vs BUR and WHU and beating Man City convincingly.
🥇 Porro: He is still the best spurs player and defender to own for the upcoming fixtures. Overshadowed by attacking returns from Romero and Van de ven, though Porro’s DEFCON potential is very limited he is still up there in terms of xA being 5th among Defenders and top 5 for shots taken by a Defender.
He now plays WOL, LEE, AVL who are all bottom 5 for goals scored so far this season, a clean sheet looks very likely.
🥈 Xavi Simons: I rate him pretty highly already in terms of his versatility, he can play at the left wing and also as an attacking midfielder. He had a decent debut vs West Ham, created a decent chances but looked a bit rusty to start with and was tested in GW5 but I expect him to start regularly now on.
Going forward I expect him to be playing more centrally into that Maddison role and will be very close to goal.
🥉 Van de Ven: Easily the best Spurs Defender if you are looking for clean sheets and DEFCON with the added attacking threat. He is top 5 for shots inside the box and 4th for xG amongst defenders, he also hit DEFCON points in 3 of the 5 GWs so far. I wouldn’t pay the £0.4m extra for Romero.
NOTE: I would consider Richarlison too at the moment but Solanke was spotted back in training earlier and could take minutes away from him very soon.
