Premier League Predicted Lineups – Gameweek 29

Premier League Predicted Line-Ups & Team News Hub

Welcome to our Premier League Predicted line-ups hub. You can find every Premier League team’s predicted line-ups for the current Gameweek with data and tactical insights along with press conference and injury news to back up our predictions.

Predicted line-ups are key for Fantasy football and also in other arenas like gambling.

Why? Simply put, if you can predict a team’s starting line-up, and have the knowledge to understand what the line-up may tell us about how a team might set up tactically, or how they intend to play, then we as fans, Fantasy managers or gamblers can more accurately predict how a game might play out. Accurate predicted line-ups also help FPL managers to attack a Blank or Double Gameweek with confidence – team selection in those weeks are pivotal to FPL success. Predicted line-ups can also help us plan for when to use our chips and who to use them on. They are a great tool to maximise your FPL team, to stay up to date with injuries, tactical set ups of certain teams and to plan ahead in FPL.

Key Line-up & Team News Items Ahead of Gameweek 29

Erling Haaland

Status: Major Doubt (Undisclosed)

Source: FourFourTwo / Pep Guardiola

The striker missed the Leeds match and Guardiola has confirmed he is being monitored. Pep specifically allayed fears of a knee injury today, but his availability for Wednesday against Nottingham Forest remains “clouded in uncertainty.”

Harry Wilson

Status: Major Doubt (Twisted Ankle)

Source: RotoWire / Marco Silva

Silva confirmed the winger twisted his ankle during the win over Spurs on Sunday. He is undergoing tests to see if he can recover in time for Wednesday’s clash with West Ham, but he is currently a significant risk for FPL managers.

Alexander Isak

Status: Out (Leg Fracture)

Source: Liverpool FC Official / Arne Slot

Slot confirmed on February 19 and reiterated this week that Isak is still in the “final stages of rehab.” He is expected to return to team training around the March international break, making a GW29 appearance impossible.

Bruno Guimarães

Status: Out (Hamstring)

Source: Goal.com / Eddie Howe

The Newcastle captain is facing an extended period on the sidelines. Reports today suggest a “ten-week period” out of action, meaning he likely won’t feature again for the Magpies until late April.

Nico O’Reilly

Status: Doubt (Ankle)

Source: Manchester City News / Pep Guardiola

The young midfielder took a heavy blow to the ankle against Leeds. While he initially played on, he was later substituted. Guardiola is assessing the severity ahead of the Forest game, but he is not a guaranteed starter.

Florian Wirtz

Status: Out (Back)

Source: The Standard / Arne Slot

Slot has ruled Wirtz out of Tuesday’s trip to Wolves. The manager stated that “Tuesday will probably be too early” and suggested next week’s fixtures are also “tight” for the German international.

Evanilson

Status: Doubt (Dead Leg)

Source: Sports Mole / Andoni Iraola

The Bournemouth striker is a “game-time decision” for Tuesday against Brentford. He was forced off against Sunderland with a dead leg and missed Sunday’s training session as a precaution.

Declan Rice

Status: Major Doubt (Unspecified)

Source: Sports Mole / Mikel Arteta

Rice was seen “moving gingerly” before being substituted against Chelsea on Sunday. Arteta admitted today that the midfielder is a major doubt for Wednesday’s game against Brighton due to the very tight turnaround.

Yasin Ayari

Status: Fit (Available)

Source: Brighton & Hove Albion Official

Fabian Hurzeler confirmed that Ayari has returned to full-contact training after a shoulder dislocation. He is “absolutely an option” for the upcoming fixtures and is no longer on the injury list.

Marc Cucurella

Status: Doubt (Hamstring)

Source: Chelsea FC / Liam Rosenior

Rosenior provided a positive update, noting Cucurella is “looking really good.” However, he admitted that while Saturday is a certainty, the Wednesday match against Aston Villa might come “too quickly” for him.

Cole Palmer

Status: Fit (Available)

Source: Chelsea FC / Liam Rosenior

Despite ongoing management of a minor groin issue and a heavy knock against Arsenal, Rosenior confirmed today that Palmer is “absolutely fine” and expected to lead the attack against Aston Villa.

Nordi Mukiele

Status: Out (Calf)

Source: Sunderland AFC / Regis Le Bris

The defender has been ruled out for the next 2–4 weeks. Le Bris confirmed the calf injury on Friday, meaning Mukiele will miss the midweek action and potentially several following Gameweeks.

Jeremie Frimpong

Status: Fit / Available (Minutes being managed)

Source: LiverpoolFC.com / Arne Slot

Frimpong made his return from a month-long hamstring injury as a substitute in the 5-2 win over West Ham on Saturday. While he is available for Tuesday’s trip to Wolves, Arne Slot warned in his press conference today that his workload will be “carefully managed” due to a congested schedule of three games in seven days. He is in contention to start, but Slot may opt to protect him ahead of the Champions League clash with Galatasaray next week.
